I didn't really like how the clamp on bottom doesn't adjust its so close you need a table with no lip on the edge has to be thin edge or has a flat bottom other than that works perfecto

Got these on a warehouse deal for half price and low expectations. Just used them to tune up the family skis and I have to say I'm impressed! They didn't move from the table, held the ski's strong, and made the job easier. Please note I am an extreme novice so I cannot compare to the name brands. However they are well made and made me smile while using them so GO FOR IT....

This set of 2 vices is flexible for a wide variety of snow riding equipment. I've been tuning my own skis for several decades now, and never owned a good set of ski vices, but I do now. These grip my wide skis very well to position them for filing the side edges, and can either grip them vertically or at a 45 degree angle. It does this with an ingenious camming block held in place by a clamping screw. The vices seem to be sturdy, made of a reinforced plastic material. All of the actions are smooth. The tops of the vices are wide enough for a snowboard to lay on them for base waxing, but they will only hold one of my skis at a time.One downside of the vices is that the only way to secure them for use is to clamp them to a table or workbench. There were no instructions for use, but they are pretty simple to operate. The set included two straps and two rubber bands, and I couldn't figure out what these would be used for. The logical use would be to hold the ski brakes up to clear the ski bottoms for waxing, but the included rubber bands are way too small. The woven straps have loops on both ends and Velcro closures in between, but I couldn't find a way to make these hold the ski brakes up without letting go. Without use directions, these additions to the kit are worthless in my opinion. The vices should be great for use on my workbench at home.

Easy to install and super sturdy. helped all season having these. Definitely a good investment

Seemed to be made of duable material and clamps and everything work as they should. I am happy with product. Has helped me wax and edge several skis to get ready for season.
