Great quality. Easy install. The instructions are pretty basic. Removing the hoses from the evap canister needs to be done properly — guessing will be costly. Look up “remove evap canister” on YouTube. Ignore anyone who tells you to cut or break anything, they are wrong.

This is a high quality and very thick skid plate. It bolted into place under the jeep with factory bolts great. The only small issue was the canister itself didn't fit as easily as ecpected. The fitment guide and description both said it would fit my 08 2 door jk wrangler but I feel like it was designed for the newer canisters that have a spot to screw into the canister itself. Mine for whatever reason doesn't have that canister but mine still fit without modification. I just had to hold it in place while I tightened the retaining strap down so it didn't pop out of place. Once I got the strap tightened down it was peachy. Overall a very thick and high quality skid that offers complete protection of the evap canister, it just didn't fit my canister as easily as it should.

I put these to protect my 2010 2 doors jeep JK from rocks when fourwheeling. No need to weld. Works perfect!Great!

Does not fit my 2014 2dr. The tab that bolts the upper strap to the lower plate hits the exhaust resonator. Had to drill two new mounting holes in the Jeeps cross members in order to mount it close to the factory location. It's now closer to the rear driveshaft, but away from the resonator.The plate is plenty beefy, and a definite improvement over the factory "skid". I am happy with the skid, but it did not fit my 2014 in the stock location.
