Abu Garcia REVO Winch Low Profile

Reel arrived on time for a fishing trip to lake of the ozarks. Bought it for crank bait fishing paired with a duckett incite 7’6” medium action rod. Reel performance was great cast a mile and smooth. Have all lews baitcasting reels, the revo is quickly becoming my favorite reel.

Slower retrieve than I expected. Overall a good reel.

I have paired this with a skeete reese s glass rod 7 ft crankbait rod. First it is quiet and it is very smooth. I just starting using baitcasting reels 2 months ago but man can this cast a 2/5 ounce bait a mile with only 2 centrifugal brakes on and magnetic brake 4 clicks from being turned off. And maybe another 20 feet with both brakes totally off. Large crank baits are easy to crank in with no fatigue , the gear ratio is perfect. I had previously bought a Lews tournament hb ( not correct gear ratio for deep crank baits 6.8) Abu blows it away for casting distance smoothness when reeling in and overall performance. The gull wing door for the side plate is nice opens and closes easy and you never habe to worry about loosing it. Gonna be hard pressed not to buy other abu garcia reels from now on. All they claim about this reel are true. Dont buy 2 x $ 100 reels, putchase this reel for $ 199 and be verry happy. Comes with free lube. Oh and 24 lbs of dtag. And large cranking handles are awesome.

I recently purchased this item to throw smaller pike lures. It threw lightweight Rapala's well and threw some larger spinnerbaits and spoons well. The lower gear ratio is nice for fishing baits with a lot of water resistance. Certainly recommend.

It is a beast! Using it on my Crankbait setup. Love the fact that it has a lower gear ratio then most reels these days. It’s not all about speed, I wish more companies would make a total line of reels. Only been a month but have hauled out a few big hogs. We will see how the season goes. Maybe a Abu convert!!!

Love this reel, paired it too a TFO HF 7'6", outstanding Performance and all daycomfort. This thing will cast a mile, ultra smooth for bearing count. Got mine for under 170$ so very pleased with price and overall quality of product. I am not brand specific at all, but the more Abu I buy the more I learn towards them. Still love my Lews but Abu seems to edge them out in how the reel feels. The first time you use it, you just know you have a quality reel in your hands, and for less them 200$ you cant go wrong. Highly recommended

Item came supposedly new from Amazon. Spool was damaged and water was in side of adjustment panel. Reel had definitely been used before. Came with another defective reel I had ordered. I’m using the replacement feature to see what happens.

One of the best reels I have ever used and I have owned a lot over the years. This reel is smooth, cast well and has plenty of power. I was not a big fan of the first generation of Revo reels but this one has changed my mind. It also has one of the best breaking systems I have ever used. I would highly recommend this reel.

Got this one Revo4 winch after a few revo4 x's (5:4:1 & 7:2:1) That are flawless, and great price/performance reels. Have fought a bunch of pikes with them already.But the price/performance does not seem as good on the winch.Thought i would need one with dual brakes also.Besides spinning, for double-duty.Became a bit dissapointed upon inspection when i noticed that this much more expensive one got some wiggle on the crank/handle's axle.The X's does not. Neither of 3.Probably a little loose or misaligned, or something.Didnt want to put any toolmarks in it, before contacting seller to try to find a sollution.Tried to write the seller, but only got amazon's sending it back as option, having to wait for a refund. And then buy from another place.I think i will bite the bullet on this one.For 150€ - maybe find an SX instead. Saw them for about 140€ at the same time.The extra centrifugal brake on these ones, compared to the revo4 X's magnet-only, gives a + on the price about 40-50% - great reels, can handle some lighter baits with the dual brake systems - but is it worth it?

非常に残念で、よくこんな物を発送したなと思った。まず最初に届いた時に、箱の傷が多い事におや？と思い、中身を開けたところ、リールを入れる黒い袋が丸めてポンと入っていた。そして手に持ってみると、リールはオイルまみれで、ハンドルの回りも悪い。しかもスプールは回すとしゃりしゃり音がする。ハンドルノブもテカリがあってマグネットブレーキ回すところにはキズもある。これって返品されたものか中古のものレベルでしたよ。星1じゃなくて星マイナス5だわ。

ディープクランク用に購入。カラーリングも良いし、ギア比が低い分パワーも有ります。

ワイヤーが通っていて使えない。切断できない。商品出荷時の取り忘れか？
