Jack Wolfskin Women's Mantel Iceguard Coat

This is my second Jack Wolfskin Iceguard coat, I have two different colours! This is a fantastic coat with everything I require for the winter weather. It is lovely and warm and the length is perfect to keep you nice and toasty. The styling is perfect in my opinion. Not too fitted, just very comfortable, practical and good looking too. I am size 14/16 so I bought Large size and the fit is good for me even when I am wearing a thicker jumper. I love this coat and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again!

Very lightweight and warm coat. The large size is generous enough to be able to wear a thick jumper underneath. It can be folded and stuffed into a rucksack and worn after with no ill effects to its appearance. It is also wind proof and long enough to keep your legs warm without restricting movement. I wore in the mountains in Turkey in April in the snow and while crawling through underground cities and rock churches and was warm and comfortable all the time.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It is ideal for cold blustery weather and is a good fit (knee length on me, with room for a jumper underneath.) The quality is good overall, although the zip could be sturdier for a coat of this type. Similarly the popper fastenings are small and fiddly. For me, the hood is not a snug fit, but ok when a hat is worn as well. The main reason for choosing this coat was to avoid duck down, which is produced cruelly, and as yet there is not a big choice of affordable quality synthetic down coats.

Have been wearing it daily since I bought it & its a really lovely coat. Its a nice huggable fit & keeps me warm, fleece cuffs to protect from the wind & nice long sleeves. Ive got long arms & have trouble finding clothes to fit but this coat is perfect. The hood is on the large side but its adjustable with a stretch cord at the back, also either side. Theres also the same in the pockets, adjustable stretch cords for the waist.. Im 5ft 9 inches & the coat reaches my knees..

Very warm and thick, love the jacket! The only disappointing thing was that after only 2 months one of the popper buttons has broken off and the elastic for tightening the hood had snapped. After paying £140 for a jacket I would expect these things to last more than 2 months.

I was counting on this coat to keep me warm even on cooler days with -10 degrees and it has lived to my expectations!!!I am usually size 8/ S-M for sweaters/38 for blazers. But I bought the size XS as everyone said to size down. And i did well.The only issue i can find is that The upper arms of the jacket are a bit weird, they look a bit bulky.The zipper is 67 cm long. But the jacket measures 91cm.Overall i am pleased with this jacket.And the delivery was excellent. I am from Romania. I ordered the coat via expedite on Saturday evening and by Tuesday afternoon it was already delivered. So money well spent!

I have had the coat just about a month and one press stud already broke as well as the zipper takes a several attempts to zip up. Although the coat is wonderfully warm zipper and press stud are cheap quality. I am very disappointed because I thought for that prize I had a high quality coat but that is sadly not the case. There is also no option to return as the return window closed a few days ago and hence no seller information accessible.

Already own the light coloured coat like this, so as this was such a good price thought it would be handy in the darker colour, which is a lovely teal shade. The coats are totally wind and waterproof and not heavy and awkward to wear, like some padded garments. Own several Jack Wolfskin jackets and they are always top quality.

De jas is totaal niet waterdicht. Erg jammer van het geld want het was geen goedkope jas.Na 1 kleine regenbui al doorweekt. Erg teleurgesteld in dit product. Als ik dit van te voren wist had ik deze jas nooit gekocht. Ik heb liever mijn geld terug voor een echt goede water- en wind dichte jas. Zo zonde

Sono alta 1.68 e peso 54 kg, ho preso la taglia xs e fortunatamente è perfetta per le mie misure, mi arriva esattamente sopra il ginocchio quindi se siete un po’ più basse considerate che vi arriverà al ginocchio, più alte viceversa, il parka è arrivato qualche giorno fa e in questi giorni l’ho subito messo alla prova tutti i giorni, vento, forte umidità e pioggia, temperatura 12 gradi di sera, mi ha tenuta al calduccio per tutto il tempo e più lo indossavo più sembrava intrappolare calore, non fa sudare e quindi vuol dire che effettivamente è traspirante come dichiara il produttore, ha tenuto bene anche la pioggia di intensità media per 2 ore ma non l’ho ancora testato sotto pioggia potente e prolungata, in ogni caso arriva corredato di diversi bigliettini in etichetta che dichiarano anche che il tessuto è stato trattato con trattamento idrorepellente e confermo la tenuta anche all’umidità, non fa passare nulla all’interno e si asciuga velocemente da solo, la cosa che a me personalmente è piaciuta è che è imbottito ma non bombatissimo, nel senso che fortunatamente non ti fa sembrare tipo “omino Michelin”.. in più è leggero di peso ma tiene caldissimo, da l’impressione di poter arrivare a tenere caldi anche a zero gradi, considerando che io con 12 gradi e umidità sto benissimo e per ora metto solo una maglia termica sotto il cappotto, basta aggiungere uno strato come un maglioncino elegante o un pile leggero e secondo me arriva tranquillamente a tenere caldi anche a zero gradi, e considerate che sono del tipo freddoloso, nel senso che già una temperatura di 20 gradi per me è freddo e inizio a brontolare :DHa due tasche esterne ed una interna, tutte con cerniera, direttamente dalle tasche per le mani (e non dall’interno che sarebbe più scomodo) si possono tirare due fili elastici che stringono la vita a piacimento, l’apertura frontale avviene tramite cerniera o bottoni o entrambi e arriva fino a coprire bene il collo, le cerniere sono tutte di qualità ottima, il cappuccio è performante, ti avvolge completamente, è un prodotto tecnico e in definitiva vale tutti i soldi che costa e in più sta bene praticamente su qualunque cosa.
