SEAWHITE Black Euro Spiral Hardback Sketchbook 160gsm Portrait A3-297x420mm

I love the Seawhite sketchbooks - I have a few in various sizes, and bought this one for an art class I'm taking. The paper takes graphite pencil well, and there's enough tooth to vary marks and shading, and to go very dark with the 'B' pencils. It takes pen-and-ink beautifully, with no bleed-through, and it takes a light watercolour wash nicely - though be a bit conservative with the water; I've buckled a few pages by being over-exhuberant! Lovely sketchbooks, and I feel quite gutted that I managed to snag the last A3 one on here - I hope Seawhite puts some more up soon, I could sketch all day in these :)

This is a brilliant sketchbook, it’s the same as one I was given previously and I know the paper is perfect for what I need. However, the third party seller put their own barcode sticker on the front cover of the book and when I took it off it removed the top layer of the cover. Not great when I wanted this to display my work. The SeaWhite sticker came off perfectly, no ripping or anything. Just the barcode sticker, and I know it was a third party seller issue as I also ordered a couple of other SeaWhite sketchbooks at the same time and they had no stickers other than the standard SeaWhite one. Hopefully the seller will either use a different sticker, or will just stick it completely over the SeaWhite one instead. It’s really frustrating as of course the cover is the first thing you see.

Amazing quality paper, I use it for life drawing! Would reccommend to anyone who's looking for a good quality sketchbook for a decent price :)

These are fantastic sketchbooks with thick cartridge paper and a sturdy cover. My college use them for submitting projects to exam boards as they are such nice quality.It lost a star because mine arrived damaged with a crease in the cover. This shouldn't happen, especially considering the price I paid for the item. Other than that, still a fantastic sketchbook and would highly recommend it to anyone - though will be buying mine directly from the college in future to avoid it being damaged in transit.

Good quality book. 160gms. I wanted a heavier paper sketchbook however this was the heaviest on offer.
