Astoundingly fast data transfer
This product is astoundingly fast when used for data transfer. Unlike previous versions of USB, this cable has the new USB-C connector which makes the cable use the full capability of USB 3.1. In order to use the cable though, you must have a product that supports this type of connector (USB-C that is) as it will not fit into USB micro ports given that's a different shape and can also be plugged in either way round (i.e. there's no orientation required when inserting the cable).Transfer speed is significantly increased over that of a conventional USB 2.0 cable with a micro connector but in order to see the real benefit the "standard" end (USB-A) needs to be plugged into a USB 3 port, preferably one that is of the USB 3.1 specification although you will still see a marked improvement on speed even using a USB 3.0 port. The cable itself is very well made, has a professional look and is braided with a black mesh like material which makes the cable itself much more robust and less likely to become entangled. If you have a device which has a USB-C female connection then I highly recommend these cables for the ultimate in data transfer speeds across USB.There seems to be no marked improvement in respect of charging times given that most chargers these days are matched to the requirement of the device with which they are sold. The cable does appear to support turbo / rapid charging if your device has such a feature but again, this will be dependant on the charger you are using.NOTE: Turbo / rapid charge on a computer is only supported by motherboards that have a dedicated port and the relevant driver and application to support this feature.

High quality USB-C type cable. Decent value, highly recommended.
Been using TechNet's glass screen protector for years. TechNet has never let me down before. I am so grad that I have the chance to try these cables out and I quite fancy them already. The cables are packed well in a hard paper carton.inside the box, they put the cable in a poly bag and come with a Tecknet warranty card which you can get two years warranty if registered online. These cables are nylon-like braided so that it will not be messy and tangle free. Braided cable always are sturdy and stronger than the original cable provided by some phone manufacturers. It gives excellent protection during daily use. And personally, I quite like the rough feeling of Braided cables. As far as I can see, the charging time and data transfer speed remains the same while using with manufacturer's fast charger.with the help of using a timer, I compared it with the original Samsung cable when transfer the same 2.1GB size of file. The consumption of time doing this remains no significant difference. I would say they are as fast as each other.Overall, I get two premium quality cables at such low price with two years' warranty. I am surprised by TechNet with this product. Highly recommended to any one needs a Type-C cable. It works with Samsung Galaxy S8 very well.I provided this review as part of a review programme.

FCP and QC3 compatible, very fast charging, excellent construction, but didn't work with all chargers tested
I really like these USB C cables from TeckNet... I've been using them for a couple of weeks now, and this is the cable that I reach for in the mass of cables attached to my multi-port charger. However, neither cable works with the charger in my car, hence the 4 star rating. The cables have a nice braided construction that allows reasonable flexibility whilst providing robust construction. The end connectors are solid, the USB C plug is a single continuous piece of metal, and the fit into the phones and chargers is perfect (solid connection, no wiggle, but easy to insert/remove).The cable is advertised as being USB-C 3.0, which is actually the same as USB-C 3.1 Gen 1, which means is should support 5Gbps transfer speeds; however, my phone's USB port does not support this fast a speed, so I've not tested data transfer. I can say that the charging speed is excellent with this cable (if it works). I've tested my Honor 9 phone (Fast Charge Protocol, FCP) and a Xiaomi Mi5 phone (QC3.0), with the OEM chargers, Anker desktop charger, Tronsmart Edge Portable Charger, and a ZMI PowerCruise C2 Car Charger. FCP and QC3 charging works with the respective OEM chargers and the Tronsmart battery, which is especially nice if you own a Huawei or Honor phone, and the phones charge very quickly using the Anker charger.Using the Ampere app, I recorded a maximum charge current of 3.0A, which is higher than the 2.4A advertised on the product page, and higher than the FCP advertised rate of 2.4A... I'm not sure if this difference from "spec" is good or bad! However, neither phone would charge at all using this cable with the ZMI car charger, which supports both FCP and QC3.0. Of course, the charger may be at fault, but it worked perfectly with the OEM cables, Aukey USB-C cables and USB 2.0 cables with USB-C adaptors. Same result with both supplied cables. I really don't know why the charger did not like the cables, but it is something that TeckNet should look at.

Superb and reliable product for the price
Since my LG Nexus 5X did not come with a USB-C to USB-A cable out of the box I decided to look to Amazon to use for both charging and data transfer purposes. I chose this because I heard it had the correct resistor and it was very reasonably priced at the time. The fast charging feature is an added bonus but it must be said that a compatible wall charger is necessary to take advantage of this. I have tried and had success with an Apple iPad mains adapter as well as an Anker 2-port USB wall charger. Having used the cable for a few months now it has showed very little signs of wear. The cable is thick but made of the normal rubber material. In my opinion this is more ideal than the braided material a lot of the premium cables come with these days as the cable is more flexible and it is generally easier to pack when travelling. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would not hesitate to buy from Tecknet again.
