Having read a lot of reviews for jigsaws, I bought this to replace my trusted and old Black and Decker pro saw which has given me years of reliable service.The first thing I notice about the Bosch, is the sturdiness and build quality, which is excellent.The blade change is super quick and easy. The tool only comes with one blade (T144DP), but this gave a great cut the first time I used it, in sawn timber and then 40 thick kitchen worktop, there was very little damage to the top surface, was super quick to cut and something that the black and decker failed on, an almost perfect 90º square cut, which was something of a bugbear of mine with the B & D one.So far and I've only had it one day, it's amazing. Time will tell and will amend this review should anything come to light, but at the moment would definitely recommend.

I ve had several jigsaws in the past, this one from Bosch is up their with Makita, Hilti etc great power output, I love the blade locking system, long cable and adjustable speed settings

Nice piece of kit that cuts smoothly and accurately, with little vibration. Only reason for not getting a five is that the blade change can spit the blade out even though you think that it has properly seated and people with smaller hands will find the grip over large.

This replaced my 25 year old Bosch jigsaw …increased my warranty by an extra year free of charge by registering it online with Bosch. First impression of this new jigsaw is very powerful and accurate. Recommend to all DIYers

This is a really good quality Jig Saw with plenty of power and is easy to use. Good dust extraction with a forward blower to provide clear visibility of pre marked guide lines. Designed well to enable a snug fit when handling. Insertion/removal of blades is simple with minimal effort as the inserted blade is ejected from the machine. Plenty of cable is provided to allow flexibility when in use. One general purpose blade is provided with this tool, would be nice of a small selection were to be provided with the tool. However, this is a very small niggle. This is a professional quality tool from the customary quality build Bosch stable. I strongly recommend this tool.

I find it powerful and gives great control with the barrel grip style jigsaw.Very happy with purchase.Only thing is you need to check the jigsaw blade is firmly correctly in place or will fly out.Happy cutting

I have been searching for a good quality jigsaw for some time my last Bosch jigsaw suffered from the attack of the rats when it was stored in my workshop one chewed right through the outer casing rendering it completely useless.This new one is a whole new ball game very well made nice weight to it dose not jump about when your cutting thiner materials and the blade dose not waver when cutting thicker materials all in all a top of the tree product.

D handle type more practical
