Brilliant.Arrived in a small box with all the cables (no batteries in the remote, but but takes 2 x AAAs, yet for the price, I don't expect batteries. Great value for money.It pugs into a USB socket, but they provide the UK USB to UK mains adapter. The little mains plug adapter is clever, you need to push the plastic top pin and it moves outwards to make right shape for UK 3 pin socket.It says push on the plug, but as it's white it may be difficult to see.You need to remove the cardboard (mock CD) first and don't touch the laser. The cover is a press relase like one of those button lid press fancy rubbish bins (Brabrantia). Bush at the bottom and it clicks and pops up. It doesn't open very far, but far enough to put in a cd.When it turns on without remote it says 'Hi' then it begins reading the disk, if there is no CD it will come up as 'No Disc'.It can be played on its side (there are rubber feet fr it to stand on), flat or it says it can be fixed to a wall.It's really good. I expected the speakers to be tinny like tin, but on top of my kitchen worktop the sound quality is really good. Tried a tempermental CD in it and it played.I am very surprised and it looks great and takes up little room, but being light weight, you can carry it around and plug it in another place, or take it away on a caravan break.It also takes USB stick and Blue tooth from your phone. I brought it for my MP3 and my CD collection.So thrilled wth it, I can now dig out my audio cds and listen to them. Volume doesn't need to be high.I also comes in Blue, Black, Pink, but I chose white because it was cheaper and the white looks very smart. Very clear to work and very versatile.It is so much better than my old one and no bigger than a season one box set or a drama and slightly heavier.5 stars. I had been without a little CD player for 18 months and this is fantastic. So pleased.

We’ve only had this 6 months but it’s been a great little cd player. We love our cds, we like to look at the inserts and see the artwork. My daughter has this in her room. She can connect her phone to it via Bluetooth and use it as a speaker. Sometimes she uses it to play cds of her fave artists. It’s worked well so far, remote still works. Only con is that the door opens the wrong way but that’s not a biggie. I would recommend as the sound quality for playing it at normal levels (not high) is great

This is a very good Value CD Player, Maybe not the best quality in build and sound quality but for the price it does the job very well. I needed it just for listening to the spoken word for my elderly relative and i also needed a remote control so that they weree not having to constantly get up and down. It is simple to operate with a few Function modes, CD, Bluetooth, USB, Line In and FM Radio so is m,ore than capable of playing from most devices. I have tested the FM Radio and it searched and found a few of the popular channels and sounded fine. I also tested the CD Player and again it had all that i needed for a comfortable and easy listening experience. The only reason i gave it 4 Stars and not 5 was that the Remote Control doesn't come with batteries, not an absolute disaster as all functions have appropriate buttons on the player but as i specifically paid the extra for a Remote Contol I was a little suprised not to receive them in the bundle. However that aside I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a useable and well funtioned media player. Finally it is a mains only unit and needs to be plugged in to work so maybe not one for the potting shed.

Cracking little cd player. Sooo convenient, place it anywhere and play away. Quite good sound from such a small set….really recommend….very pleased.

Impressive quality, it's a CD player with built in speakers, what more could you want from it?. Sound is great and has FM. Bonus that I can use it as a line-in for my son's drum kit. Multi purpose and works well.

Sounds good easy to use

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. On the first attempt to play a CD, the noise of the spinning was very loud and, although it came and went, indicated either a design fault or a mechanical problem. Persevering with another CD the machine then proceeded to skip both during a track and then from track to track. Sadly, as I had had the player for 43 days in anticipation of the birthday, I could not return it. I see no point in contacting manufacturer and will have to simply write this off as a bad purchase.If you go ahead and buy one of these - BEWARE! It looks solid enough but is rather tacky - although the radio sounds OK. DEFINITELY try it out quickly so that you can return it if it is as duff as mine!
