The media could not be loaded. The Metallix is literally small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. After opening the box, I was excited for two reasons. First...simply because I’m a long time user and fan of Creative products. Their quality always brings out the excitement in me. And second of all, the acrobatic lady on the advertising inspired me to try and do what she does! Notice, I said "TRY".If you haven't noticed already, this small portable speaker is packing big functionality. In fact, it’s one of the things in my opinion that sets the Metallix bluetooth speaker apart from it’s competition. Although you can’t have two devices connected simultaneously via bluetooth, Your not just limited to bluetooth. If you prefer to listen to the radio, it has a built in tuner. If you have a device or computer that has an audio output port, you can connect it to the Metallix. Additionally, you can drag and drop you favorite MP3 songs to a MicroSD card and play it on the metallix. You can even use the Metallix as a speaker phone for your phone calls. CREATIVE provided a lot of flexibility here which contributes towards a great user experience.SOUND QUALITYWhat good is all this flexibility if the product cannot put out a good sound? Fortunately, that’s something you won’t have to worry about because the sound quality coming from the Metallix is really surprising. It sounds REALLY GOOD. The clarity from this speaker caught me off guard. I didn't expect it to put out that clear of a sound. Now don’t expect the bass from this unit to rattle your desk or walls, however you can hear the bass notes. Overall, the sound quality from the Metallix is very well balanced. I’ll go as far to say that I have not yet heard another Bluetooth speaker put out this level of clarity.MY LIKES- I like the fact that I have multiple ways of listening to music- Second is portability. Small and compact with little to none sacrifice in quality & features- The sound quality. CREATIVE is known for their quality products including the this unit- Pairing two of these for stereo mode is simply. Just hold down the play button on the one not paired with your phone or portable device. It will automatically pair in the future in stereo mode when both units are turned on.MY GRIPESThere’s not really anything to gripe about here. One thing that I will point out as a potential annoyance to some is in regards to the radio. If you power off the unit and turn it back on. It doesn't keep the last station in memory. Definitely not a deal breaker, but something you should be aware of.

It has been a while since i have purchased a new Creative device, it has been mostly sound cards and headphones. But when i went to their website and look at the new items they have, i notice this little pair of speakers and was intrigued. I was in need of one, so besides taking the bait for an amazon basics Bluetooth speaker in discount, i went and bought one of these too.I can tell for sure that the quality of sound on this little guy is quite good for the size, even compared to the bigger size of the amazon basic one. Probably not as powerful but with the size, i would say it makes it even more portable and handier. What i was surprised though is that you can pair it with another one and make it stereo. And seeing how it dropped from price, i went and bought another one and was super happy with the results of pairing. Besides of being quite easy to accomplish it, it does enhance the sound quite a bit making it double powerful and probably with the half of size of the amazon basic Bluetooth speaker.I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a good pair of portable speakers that just doesn't let you use it as a Bluetooth speaker, but can also be plugged directly with a 3.5 mm cable, plug a micro sd card with music, or even as an speaker phone. That's a lot of functionality for this little fella and is very portable. Creative, you have done an awesome job with this little speakers.

I've been a fan of Creative Labs since the original Sound Blaster PC sound card so always look to them for innovative products.All the added features at such an aggressive price point make this a 'must have' device.I don't stream much music from my mobile except in the car so I'm primarily using it as a speaker phone and it works very well. 4 stars as the microphone is not as sensitive as I'd like but it does the job.Long battery life, quick and easy pairing and the ability to connect a media source from your choice of a 3.5mm mini-stereo cable, BT or microSD card make this a really good deal.

This little speaker packs a punch for the price. The sound quality is excellent for the size and price. Don't expect a concert size experience, but you will get clear sound. I prefer this speaker for audiobooks, where it excels. The narrator is right there with you.It's compact size makes it ideal for travel. I bought it for a hospital stay and was very pleased.Bluetooth pairing is as easy as it gets. Battery life is excellent too. So far I've run it for 12 hours continuously on one charge.

I was very underwhelmed by these speakers. I bought two of them to take advantage of the stereo pairing. Unfortunately, the sound quality had me boxing these back up and sending them back. There is absolutely no bass whatsoever. Very tinny sound. My iPhone 8 Plus speaker is almost as good as this. It’s just not worth it for the money.

To all of you this item to be small is one of the best that way on the market they no longer sale it it pack a lot of hi end sound for a small speaker

Not too good Bass is weak not loud enough do not recommend this product.Look to the Creative Metallix Plus instead way better sounding Speaker and the Bass is much stronger and way louder.
