Very nice transceiver! Nice black & white display, very easy to use, good controls and inbuilt tuner. All mode SW / HF coverage up to 55 MHZ. Can be 'opened up' to cover CB frequencies - plenty of info on web etc.

A great first radio, easy to pick up the functions and the internal tuner works well. I'm so please with this unit, small enough to take portable as well. You will not be disappointed.

This is a brilliant unit and so easy to use, had so many contacts especially on the 6m band.

No interest in tx capability, but it will be good.....Hot...Clear simple screenAdaquate memory channelsSmooth tuningEnough volumeSimple filteringSensitive receiverExcellent priceNot.....A bit more audio output would be niceLine output would be good as wellMine runs for about six hours a day, is stable, takes about 12 watts @ 13.8 volts and just gets switched between memory channels.... It is as good as my FT890 and a damn site more sensible when it comes to button pressing.....
