This TP-Link 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch was exactly what I needed. Plugged it into my router and instantly had wired connections running all round the house - fast, stable, and no configuration required. The steel case feels durable and professional, and it’s quiet in operation. Can be rack-mounted or desktop, it fits neatly into a home setup. Ideal for smart TVs, consoles, PCs, and anything else that benefits from a solid wired connection. Has no weight to it at all so ideal for anywhere really. Highly recommended if you’re expanding your network and want a reliable switch that just works.

Well !...that's most of the house now networked using a couple of network switches ( or - 'splitters' ), carrying internet all around the place - 'hardwired' - ( that is - using CAT7 ( category 7 ) ethernet cables instead of a Wi-Fi signal ) - to the kids' playstations, TV's, and PC's !! And this 'TP-Link TL-SG105-M2 Unmanaged 5-Port 2.5G Multi-Gigabit Network Switch' is part of a couple of network internet fiber 'splitters', including an 8 port one - that are making everything we use for entertainment in the house linked to the internet !! What's not to like ?!! - And it was on offer from Amazon compared to others of similar scope and capability - but so much cheaper than them !! The quality is good, we swear by TP-Link switches ! When they pack up - hopefully not for a long time - we'll just replace them with like for like ! - Simple ! We have used CAT7 cabling around the house though, we've 'future-proofed' using even faster ethernet when the time comes and the internet gets 'silly-fast' ! If you can afford it, try it ! Great signal from CAT7 ethernet cabling ( hardwiring ) around the home ! And this switch is just right for our ethernet bandwidth ! ( That's why we use 2.5 Gigabit TP-Link switches, our bandwidth from our internet provider is over 2 Gigabits. The switch helps in sharing enough of the ethernet/internet 2 Gigabit bandwidth signal between watching internet TV and when the kids are using the PC or playing games on their XBOX or PS5 at the same time ! I hope you understood that. ) It's not that hard to understand, just go to Youtube or something, and learn how to use a switch - what size bandwidth switch you might need if you do need one, and how to install it ! ( If I can do it - believe me - you can too !! Does exactly what it claims to do! Splits gigabit ethernet into two, with no detectable loss of signal or performance. Small and compact, comes with a small USB-A to USB-C cable (USB-A is the power outlet end) to power it up. I use it to split a gigabit connection between my TV and PS5 and both run perfectly. No issues with overheating or cutting out. Simply plug and play and away you go!

Good quality, well built and very compact. Perfect for a garden office where you need to split your incoming ethernet for a couple of work stations. No brainer for the money.

Non avevo mai acquistato uno switch prima d'ora, e sono stato piacevolmente sorpreso della facilità e del prodotto in ogni suo aspetto. Piccolo, nascosto dietro alla mia scrivania, senza rumori e con una piccola interfaccia gestionale per settare alcuni parametri che per me sono rimasti invariati. Solidità, il prodotto è in metallo, non scalda e si può installare in qualunque posizione data l'assenza di parti in movimento. Poca spesa molta resa. Consigliato!
