Bargain, quality rucksack
I am a bit of a bag junky. I am always on the lookout for the perfect bag - of course there isn't one as we need bags for different reasons. For me, the thing I carry around most often is my BJJ training gear - i.e. a fairly heavy judo-type jacket and pants, my belt, t-shirt and various small items like gum shield and tape. I was looking at the 40l version of this bag initially as I thought I would be able to fit my laptop in it as well. However, I went for the 28l and when it turned up I was slightly annoyed with myself for going for the smaller bag. However, I am very happy with it. The way that it completely opens when you lie it flat allows packing of a lot of stuff in it. My gear pretty much fills the main compartment but there are three more areas where I can fit a book, an iPad, my keys, wallet, phone etc. The side straps mean we can make the bag smaller when there is less stuff in it and also they make it feel really secure when it is packed fairly full.Compared with much more expensive backpacks I think the straps system and the area that comes into contact with your back are not very sophisticated. For those looking to go on long walks, use this for camping etc maybe this will be a drawback. But for me this is not relevant and for my purposes and the money this bag is first class.

Smart compact and well made
Very smart looking rucksack, it will be used as a police grab bag for my daughter. Lots of different compartments to but bits and pieces in Would recommend. Not the cheapest but worth the price

Brilliant Buy
the material is of very high quality so will last for years.zips are very good.stitching is strong and will not part as some less expensive ones.lots of compartments and lined as well.there is an official hole in the top, not sure what it is for, maybe a radio or something. small job to close it of if necessary.pay attention to the dimensions, it is quite narrow.comfortable to wear.a much better buy than a back-pack with a designer label which would be a lot more expensive and not last as long as this will.can attach clips to it as there are lots of placesnow 2019 Original purchase was 2013; this back pack is still wearing well and no complaints; recently purchased the water bottle holder which fits well on the side.would buy again and also recommend

Delivered on the first date range stated
Well made item. Harder to fit everything in compared to my 18 litre day sack due to it having separate zipped compartments.Water will get in downpours due to dual zips which leave a small gap when they meet. I've got a waterproof cover which I'll store in the hydration pouch until needed which will drop water getting in this gap.Good fit cyclists add the hook & loop where the flag is cab take reflective patches and the molle webbing can have lights hooked on also. Will worth the money, time will tell on the build quality but I think this will last for some time.

Hardy and Useful
Got this years ago and used it for everything from exercise, travel or just trips shopping. Taken plenty of abuse and so far is only getting minor damages, while still remaining fully functional. Probably a fair bit of use to get out of it yet.

well thought-out day sack then this is a pretty good bit of kit
If what you need is a rucksack to climb the Himalaya's then this probably won't fit the bill, but if you want a rugged, well thought-out day sack then this is a pretty good bit of kit. It is narrower than you might initially expect, which for me is an advantage as this provides greater freedom of movement. The hip strap, you might expect to have been made a little wider to accommodate the weight of the sack on the hips rather than on the shoulders, but if used as a day sack, how much weight do you expect to need to accommodate? It does for me exactly what it was intended to do and does it well. I also like the versatility of being able to tighten it down to the dimensions of what it needs to carry which retains the contents securely. Not disappointed.

Quality concerns
First day out and one of the zip cords broke. I know it is not the end of the world but it does not bode well for the months to come.
