Record Power RPBG6 Bench Grinder 6-inch, White,grey

Bought a 150W bench grinder from Aldi and had to send it back after attaching a copper brush for getting rid of rust. As soon as I started using the brush, the machine would grind to a halt.The Record Power one doesn't do this. Very powerful and a great Guarantee. I also have the more powerful version of the same, but 8". They ae both worth the money.Great price from Amazon as well.

Great sturdy product but at budget price

Shipping was faster than advertised which is always a plus. Overall pretty sturdy with minimal vibration. The flanges are well built and the wheels seem to be true from what I can see.I am not 100% sure the power is 370 watt but I have no way of testing this but in any case it is powerful enough for most jobs (at least 250 watt if not more). Will take a decent amount of force before you stall it especially in comparison to my 125 watt junk grinder that I was using.The tool rests are acceptable. They use a ratchet type system to lock at specific angels so are not 100% adjustable which may cause issues if you want to sharpen to specific angles and don't quite sit 90 degrees to the wheel when they should be.This may be a problem specific to my order but the insides of the threads where painted on my tool rests and it took me about 20 min to slowly ease the locking screw through. Not a big issue but a bit annoying.All in all you get what you pay for and I think this is about what one would expect.BTW I am a knife maker and will be abusing the living daylights out of this machine so I don't really mind any of the flaws I pointed out.
