It's not that colour it's baige and it's got no hole in the bottom which cichlids like to dig for baby's so it's useless for cichlids

If I could give it zero stars I would. Had a lovely little beta set up and a healthy crown tail beta fish, with all the water testing perfectly...put this in and within 2 days my fish was dead and there’s a weird residue on the top of my tank water (only way I can describe it is a little like an oil slick resemblance). I thought the item smelled a bit chemical-like, but steeped and washed it thoroughly, thinking I was just being silly, but I now bitterly regret ever putting it in. Have a devastated daughter who has lost her fish in her bedroom tank and I feel responsible. Please do not buy this for your tank - spend a little more and get something that is definitely non toxic!
