Fun activity
I bought this initially for my two year old kid, but it ended up being my favorite! It’s quite entertaining building the marble run towers. The blocks are very compatible with lego duplo blocks, so quite big in size for small kids. However, the instructions are sometimes a little confusing, and it took me sometime to follow with some back and forth. Also, it sometimes would fell apart when I tried to push new blocks on, and it was quite frustrating when it happened, especially when a two year old boy was messing around lol. But I eventually got it working when he was not home! My son is very happy playing with the ball running through the towers!

Lots of fun, but some points to be aware of
Hits the main goals: duplo compatibility, ability to build different marble runs. I have an autistic 3.5b year old. He loves playing with it, but can easily get frustrated if things don't work or fall down. So some things to keep in mind: The instructions as is don't produce stable structures. They will fall down easily. If that's the kind of thing that will upset your child / cause a meltdown: build stronger structures, with more redundant support, cross connections for additional stability, etc. This set works with other Duplo bricks so you can get as creative as you want. Couple things I wish they did: add a connector at the bottom of the ingress of the funnel pieces, so you could securely connect them to the where the ball comes from. Add a connector underneath the other side of the u-shaped pieces, again for better stability more longer bricks to create more stable structures.

Exactly like Duplo!!
There are not enough stars for this great marble run set! I was a little worried about purchasing an off-brand Lego/Duplo set as we had tried a non-Lego block set in the past and they were cheap plastic with sharp edges that either didn't stay/fit together or were impossible to pull apart. This set though was absolutely perfect! You couldn't even tell the difference between these and the official Duplo blocks! They look and feel exactly the same and fit together perfectly. They also have lots of fun pieces with tall towers and all kinds of curves, slides, and marble drops. If your child loves playing and building with Lego/Duplo, then these are an absolute must have! :-)

Marble Run
I bought this for my 4 year old so he could have something similar to his 6 year old brother like the National Geo Marble Maze Runner. He was not a fan of it, it did not hold his attention, he enjoyed playing with the National Geo one. Also, the pieces would not stay together which was old because it came with a Lego base but they kept breaking. Great idea, not so great design. I decided to return it.

Excellent. Don't listen to the naysayers
This brand has the best compatibility with duplo that I've ever seen. Perfect in fact. They snap and hold on with no problem. Keep in mind that many of the pieces involve lots of overhang so that the marbles can move. Of course those pieces will be less secure. Also, all Lego designs are based on strong foundation like brick houses. Because these involve channels for marbles they are based upon scaffolding, and they can get tall quickly. Still, my two year old didn't have any problems with breaking pieces off except when I wouldn't support the very top piece enough. I didn't bother with the instructions. It's LEGO. Just build! These really made my kid's birthday. He had never seen marble works before so he was squealing. I had dinosaurs eat the marbles and spit them into the works. I also had his construction trucks incorporated into it. For parents this is a great toy because it's tons of fun for you unlike most of the toys your child wants to play with. I want to buy more.

Don’t do it
This is literally going to break me. Instructions are unclear and inaccurate. Pieces are not sturdy. Does not work if you follow the instructions. No child could complete the instructions successfully without it asking for help. If you want to wing it, it’s definitely usable and fun but feels cheap. Would return if my kid hadn’t already tore the box up.

Wanted to love it...
The pieces, set are what is expected. However, this was incredibly hard to put together. Myself, My husband, and my teen couldn't figure it out. It's sadly never been put together due to the confusion of the instructions. Steps are left out. Lots of dark/light pieces on the instructions that are hard to tell what's what. More of a headache and mostly freeplay building.
