I wasn't sure if there were others 'standards' but turned out this was right and also the right gender (so important these days). It's a bayonet twist fitting and only one way it can go on. The little handle on it is actually to hold the flap up and is neat and tidy.

Attached to the universal euro 13 pin electric connection on a Ford Edge tow bar.. good fit easy to install and not expensive, unlike the Ford tow bar.....

Great little product.I bought a trailer online and when I went to pick it up I realised the connector for the lights were completely different to what I had on my car, looked on amazon and found this adapter.Considering it's so cheap I was amazed at how sturdy it is, and it's so simple to use and really secure.I definitely recommend this product if you you need an adapter for your trailer.

What can I say? I need an adapter for my towbar as I'd just bought a trailer and it works perfectly. Tested all of the lights (brakes, indicators, reverse) and they all function as expected. You twist it onto your 13 pin so it locks nicely in place and has a cover on a spring for weather protection. Recommended.

Robust, sensible design and good fit - does exactly what you want it to do. Twist installation initially makes you pause but straightforward enough - add a good spray of WD40 as you install it and job done.

Easy to use but the fitting into the cars 13 pin socket is loose causing the adaptor to point downwards slightly which turns off the nearside trailer lights

Used this a few times now to connect my 7 pin trailer to a multi pin car connection. Reliable piece of kit
