The forehead thermometer function allows quick, effortless non-contact / no-touch temperature readings without your child even noticing. Place the sensor close to the forehead and press the scan button (with forehead thermometer function selected). In under a second your child’s temperature is displayed. Our kids thermometer is calibrated to take instant measurements. The memory feature lets you see if your child’s temperature is increasing or decreasing over time. BABIES: This is our best thermometer for baby (over 3 months old). Safety Warning To obtain accurate temperature readings with your Kidometer medical tympanic digital infrared thermometer, always make sure that the lens (in the probe tip) is clean. When comparing temperature readings with other types of thermometer, such as oral thermometers and rectal thermometers, please note that these different types of measurement will produce different results. Oral and rectal measurements differ slightly from in ear readings, and there are also slight differences between in ear thermometer readings and forehead readings. These differences are normal and are to be expected, due to slightly varying body temperature at the different parts of the body. Your Kidometer will give highly accurate in ear measurements and forehead readings, when used correctly. You should always read the manual and instructions supplied with this infrared tympanic children’s thermometer.

Became inaccurate after a few months
The thermometer was great for the first two months but it has now become inaccurate the readings are really low and the scan button is temperamental. It maybe ok if not used often but we need his at least 3 times a day
