VonShef Pancake Maker – Crepe Maker with Batter Spreader, Oil Bush, Wooden Spatula & Ladle – Non-Stick, Electric 1000W

Bought this as part of the Black Friday sale and am very pleased. Took a couple of goes to work out the right amount of mixture to put on and to use the tool to spread but once you figure that out it is so easy to use. Cooks the crepes perfectly and the pancakes flip easily. Have used a few times already and can stop telling friends what a great buy it was

It takes a litlle longer to cook. Much quicker in the frying pan. I didn't understand why I bought it after using it apart from that it looks cool when entertaining guests. On pancake day, i cooked three pancakes in a pan, to every one crepe on the machine.

Bought to make pancakes to sell at school fayre.

Bought as present for daughter. She loves it !!

Excellant crepe maker, easy to use and makes delicious crepes. Found the plastic ladle of not much use but other tools ok

I have had this machine for 4 days now and each evening I have made enough pancake mix to make 6 pancakes. I have only eaten 2 out of 24 and they were barely edible. The main problem for me is using the spreading tool...I just can't get the hang of it and most of the time I end up with large areas of the pan containing no mixture and on trying to turn the pancake it just breaks up. The other problem is that even after cooking for 5 minutes on full heat the pancake never browns ..so the 2 I've eaten have been very insipid looking. Back to a frying pan for me and 20 odd pounds poorer.

Item was a fantastic price, cheapest of anywhere and arrived way before it was anticipated. I am yet to use the item but with pancake day approaching, I know it will be out of the box in no time. I have a Von Chef waffle maker which is fantastic and trust in the brand name. I would definitely recommend.
