I will admit I was skeptical about this product but I went ahead and ordered it for my wife. I am very pleasently surprised by it. My wife has some mobility issues and I thought this would help...it really does. The product is well thought out and high quality for the price. It is easy to assemble, it only takes a couple of minutes to assemble and the ease of adjustment made it fit our king bed just right. We also like the motion sensor light, it's just bright enough to light up the area next to the bed, but not so bright that it's blinding you at 2am. I highly recommend this mobility assist for anyone who needs a little help getting out of bed.

Recalling my father's wisdom, I decided on this more expensive Lunderg Rail. After opening the shipping box and seeing the contents and how well they was packed I realized this was a user friendly company. The enclosed manual made assembly and installation on my mattress a breeze. Then for the first time in a long time. that night I was able to use the rail to help me easily get into bed, settle in, and fall asleep, and stay asleep, feeling safe knowing I wouldn't be falling out of bed again. Because this rail continues to exceed my over-the-top expectations, and since its been several months since I installed it, I felt l I needed to reach out to Thank Lunderg, and tell potential buyers the biggest mistake they could make when buying a bed assist rail is to buy any another brand. This brand will give you more that than what you expected. One last thing, occasionally I had usage questions that required me to contact their customer service. Their response was always fast, very professional, and their solutions and advice was benchmark quality. I've already recommended to many other who live here this Senior Requirement community, and they also had glowing responses.

Got for husband. The bar was easy to place and super helpful. The hidden help for me was that the light would alert me when he got out of bed. Important because he has dementia that is worse at night and tends to wander.

Bed rail stayed in place with use. It was sturdy and was able to handle my weight the light was useful too! I would recommend this bed rail for anyone would need some assistance to get in and out of bed.

After surgery i was only able to sleep on my right side. This is exactly what I needed to help get me out of bed to avoid pulling out any stitches. Was easy to put together but would need someone strong to help attach the cord to the other side of the bed if you felt you needed that. I was able to use without it as I felt it stable enough.

Very easy to put together! Strong support for getting out of bed. Fantastic after purchase support. After the safety light did not work, contacted seller about the problem and with no questions asked they send a replacement light. They even asked me to let them know if the new light worked as expected. The whole process took only 3 days. I was very impressed with their customer service.

I LOVE THIS RAIL ASSIST!!! I highly recommend it for anyone who needs something safe to hold onto as needed to get in and out of bed! I had hip replacement surgery recently and I discovered that I could hardly get out of bed. I started looking for something that I could grab onto to pull myself out of bed and steady myself on as I stood up. I also would use it to scoot around in bed. I also felt safer because it would help keep me in bed without falling out easily. This bed assist tail was perfect for my needs! It is very well made and durable! I loved the softness around the top too. My niece works as a nurse in a local hospital. She helped me early on and when the rail came in she was very impressed! She said that it is very sturdy and perfect for my safety needs. Now that I don’t need it anymore I am going to “loan”***it to my almost 85 year old aunt soon, who will have a knee replacement in July! It will be perfect for her and help her be safe getting into bed and getting out of bed! ***I am loaning it to her for as long as she needs it, but I may need it in the future…who knows? It is something that I want to have as a safety backup!! I will purchase from this company again if I am in need of more safety products!

I’ve got this as a Christmas present for my mum to help her standing up from bed as she suffers from back pain due to an injury and I have to say, one of the best items I’ve ever bought. All instructions are easy to follow, and the light really helps if she wakes during nighttime, making her less afraid when she moves. I’m glad I got it for her and recommended it to anyone who has a loved one less able to move to get to up from bed safely.

I got this for my mom to assist her in getting in and out of bed. It works just like I was hoping; she is able to get herself in and out of bed more easily and feels safer doing so. We have the light set to detect motion and it’s bright enough that she can navigate the room, but not so bright that it disturbs my dad. Assembly was easy and the only complaint I have is that the glow in the dark rubber band that goes on the handle doesn’t glow, even when I put it in the sun all day. I was worried that she might miss the handle without it, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue. Would highly recommend. Update (October 2023): we found after a few months that we were having to charge the motion sensor light every second or third day. The company sent out a replacement one and we’ve had no problems. They also sent out another glow in the dark band and, as I had mentioned we are considering buying a second one, also gave me a discount code. I have been so happy with this product and their customer service :-)
