4 stars for the tunic which is well detailed for the price, but loses a star for the hat, which is pointless and looks like a swimming cap, may as well not include it in the first place. Overall good zulu war outfit

The good thing about this, is the jacket, and the plastic belts are quite adequate. The black trousers have an elasticateted waste, and are like flimsay track suit bottom but for about £3 you can buy 2m of red ribbon to add a stripe on the outside edge. The hat is useless and I bought a white plastic hat separately for about £7. The uniform sleeve trimminhgs and sergeant's stripes are slightly annoying for me because they are a sparkly matterial so not as authentic as the illustration. It is excellent value for money if you want it for entertainment or a fancy dress party. A proper costume for role play or re-enactment would be much more expensive but this one could be adapted. It would be easy to add ammunition pouches or even a revolver holster. If I was the manifacturer I would either omit the hat or include a better one at increased cost. Also make the product as close to the illustration as possible. Customers want to know what they are getting. They don't expect too much at this price but it should match the illustration.

The jacket is fine, everything else is terrible like previous reviews have said. The hat looks like a pixie hat!
