DKN RB-4i Recumbent Exercise Bike - Black

After much research ordered this to replace my old bike. Great product, very well packaged. Best delivery service ever, Panther, they gave me a two hour slot on the day of my choice and rang half hour before arrival. The two guys delivered it to the exact spot I needed it and were super nice.A second person to aid assembly makes it easier to put together as a couple of parts are awkward to hold and fix at the same time, but otherwise very straight forward, took me and the wife about 30 mins to unpack and assemble.Have now used it twice and found it to be very sturdy, I am 6' 3" tall and heavier than I should be, seat adjustment is great and much better than my previous upright bike. My wife and son are both 5 ' 7" tall and were able to adjust the seat comfortably for their use, my wife who has back and hip issues has also found this to be better than previous upright bike.Good range of programmes, depending on your fitness levels, my legs are still recovering from the simulated hills of the advanced programme, not to be tried first unless a regular cyclist. Both manual and beginner levels very good also. Overall five stars.

I ordered this bike on 31 October. Sweatband contacted me by telephone within a couple of days to inform me that, as I live in the Channel Islands, delivery could take up to 3 weeks. Sweatband kept me informed of progress throughout by telephone/e-mail; it only took two weeks, arriving in the Channel Islands on 14 November - excellent. After paying local taxes, a local company delivered it to my house and even carried it into the room I wanted it in. Putting the bike together was a little complicated at first, but I managed it alone (I suggest placing it on a piece of carpet, which makes it easier to move around as you work).I contacted Sweatband by e-mail at 10pm, to ask whether it was safe to use an extension for the plug, as my wall plug is too far away. There was a reply in my Inbox by the next morning to say, while it would be better plugged directly into the wall, and extension would be fine if needed.The bike works perfectly with the extension and I have been using it ever since. It is virtually silent whilst working and the seat and seat back are very, very comfortable (I am 75, with a bad back!) The programmes are good too (I use Beginners 4). The pulse rate is a little erratic, but I plan to get a Chest Heart Rate Monitor anyway, so no problem..I am absolutely delighted with this exercise bike product and cannot fault the service I received from Sweatband -it was outstanding. Well done!!

Assembly took me almost two hours and wasn't as straightforward as I would have liked. Quality is excellent but a failing is that you can't raise the seat independently - i.e. without shortening the distance to the pedals.

Faulty LED, Rusted screws and seller does not respond... disappointed

Just put it up today. Easy to do. Extra pair of hands useful at times during construction process to make life easier for your self. Well made and strong am 19 stone + and over 6 feet .Seating excellent for me and I have a severe back condition . I hope to spend many hours on it so the seating important for me. It's very heavy for only one person to move that's the only thing I have found negative the wheels are badly designed and located . You need two people to move it safely .wheels don't work on carpets. However it's a GREAT BIKE well made and does exactly what it says re performance .Will follow up with FR in six months.

I would have liked to give this five stars as it's a very good piece of equipment. However, after three weeks of use the equipment broke down due to a small clip not being fitted correctly during factory assembly (I'm told this is a highly unusual event). This in itself wouldn't have knocked two stars off, but the customer service provided by Sweatband was poor due to the fact that Sweatband subcontract warranty servicing to a separate company who don't make much effort to communicate. Overall I'd say this is a very good exercise bike and I wouldn't want to put anyone off buying it but buyers should be aware that if they have a problem they shouldn't expect five star customers service.

I am an ex engineer so found this ok to assemble. You need to lay everything out and take your time.The quality of the bike is excellent, I linked it to the Kinomap and it works great!
