Great styling, good functionality
I thought I should get some wear out of your jacket before I said anything. I really like the style of this jacket. It's a lot like a Bellstaff. Material feels good. The only thing I could wish for is the top outside pockets be about an two inches longer and the inside left pocket also about 2 inches longer. The right inside pocket is a good size for my shades, but could use a zipper pull. I'm a photographer and carry a lot of small stuff (batteries, microfiber cloth, lens caps, small tools; it's important to be able to balance the load and have ready access. I think snap pocks are better than velcro. Lower outside pockets are good, I can carry a P&S camera pretty easily. I do a lens down reverse carry with my dSLR so it fits under my jackets; it's a little tight when zipped up, but not impossible (you would have to be there). I would ask for more room to carry a water bottle sling, but that may be too much. You have a good design and competes well with Bellstaff. The dry wax seems to working quite well.

180 lbs for reference) it fits great everywhere else
Although it's a little snug in the shoulders ( I'm 6'2" , 180 lbs for reference) it fits great everywhere else. I'm the guy who is in-between Medium and Large - and tend to go on medium - just so I don't get something that's too big. I picked right for this jacket. I did expect it to be somewhat small. However, if you want a cheaper version of a Barbour, this is the way to go. Got one for my Papa too - and we get compliments all the time. This is not the warmest jacket, however. IT's a good Fall coat, but don't wear in winter. For reference, I live in Denver, CO. On a 50 degree day, felt just fine. But anything cooler, I could tell it might be dicey. Overall, extremely happy with the jacket.

In several ways better than the most expensive originals
When I was shopping, I was fully expecting to spend $600 and bought this just to try it. Just opened up my package from Ireland and am already very happy with the jacket. It arrived (free shipping) from Ireland to North Carolina in 6 calendar days. The tags and packaging are all very commercial, and Vedoneire included a package of 3 free plaid handkerchiefs and a printed catalog. I wear a 41" suit jacket and ordered the large; it fits perfectly, slightly european in tailoring, so not boxy or wide, with slightly slim sleeves. The jacket seems very well made and has a host features that were pleasant surprises. The arms are properly long, so one can reach for motorcycle bars and steering wheels and not have exposed wrists. The pockets are all lined with light flannel that matches the interior. It's sharp. But there are also bonus hand warming pockets I didn't expect behind the lower pockets that are also lined inside. The snaps look terrific and have detailing (stars) on the back sides. Vedoneire supplied a couple of matching extras in a bag in case one pulls out.The plaid cotton lining looks like a modernized classic and feels nice. Also, the lining starts a few inches in, so it's subtle, rather than a design statement. Plus, it lines the sleeves down to where a t-shirt would stop, then it's nylon down to the cuffs, so it's still easy to pull on. All the seams are taped. The interior has three hidden pockets. Two have velcro and one a zipper. One, sealed with velcro, is sized exactly for a Passport, and some extra stitching is in the upper corners to make it just a bit tricky for thieves to remove. The collar is constructed out of several shapes for a better curve and stay, with an inside lining of corduroy. I appreciate this fabric because hair product doesn't shine it up as on canvas or leather. It's a true black...not running blueish or brown. The cotton is of medium weight. It's waxed, but not so heavily as to be stiff. Water beads on it. The good news for me is that it doesn't seem to need breaking in and will easily fit for travel. For all this, it's ideal for my use. I'll need to be in the weather a few times to see if it holds up to more serious water or needs additional waxing or spraying. If I could change anything: the interior tightening cord uses leather pulls which tend to slide back, so either tie knots or replace with spring-type toggles. Also, because I cycle, would love to have the cuff adjustments go one notch tighter. Still, I'm glad they didn't choose velcro on this detail. In all, a highly versatile jacket that shocks for the price.

Great jacket, but take note of size
I originally ordered an XL, though I wear a 42-regular jacket, then changed my mind and, through extremely efficient and polite communications from the vendor, switched it to L. The jacket fits nicely, but is a bit tight if, for instance, I were to wear a sweater underneath it. The tightness is especially in the arms, meaning that it would be great and non-flappy for motorcycle riding and such. My point is that you need to consider the use to which you want to put it and perhaps order the next larger size. That having been said, it is a beautifully constructed and very comfortable jacket, with three interior pockets in addition to the two external ones, two held by very vigorous Velcro and the third zipper-closed. The jacket seems very sturdy. I love it and if they offered one in brown I would order a second -- in XL.And yes, as others have noted, it got here very quickly, almost astonishingly so.

Outstanding overall experience!
The jacket is simply outstanding. Absolutely comparable to the Roadmaster by Belstaff if no better :)Absolutely high quality, super comfortable and I love the internal adjustment for the waist line. The corduroy neck line is definitely a plus. In general this is a great option to big brand name at a fraction of the price but without sacrificing material, confort and durability. Simply outstanding. On a side note, my jacket shipped form Dublin, Ireland to Tucson, AZ and I got it within a week. I wish all other governments post service would be that effective and fast! Buy with confidence, both Vedoneire product and services are spectacular!

A good buy!
A little large on the shoulder for me, I suppose I should work out more. (I got a medium.) Very impressed with the quality for such a low price. I highly recommend this jacket. It's well made and good looking. I went to the Barbour store and they treated me like a peasant, so they did me a favor by being jerks. I saved $400:00!

Good Jacket
I bought the "3050 BLACK S (fits Chest up to 37 inches)" version and it fits great. I've now had this jacket for about a year and I've pulled a couple of loose threads from the lining, but everything else is holding up fantastically. This jacket is a good budget alternative to more expensive models that do the same thing.
