Great card reader

Best card reader I've ever used. I used to use Integral Compact Flash USB Card Reader , which are cheap and compact, but you need to buy two or three at a time because they constantly break. I decided to get one of these for my 2018 MacBook Pro rather than to persevere with the Integral ones with a USB C - A adapter, and I'm glad I did. Cards fit in snugly, and being USB 3 data transfer is much faster. The build quality feels great, and I love the attention to detail with the design - the colour perfectly matches my Mac, and the chamfer on the edge is reminiscent of the iPhone 5/5S/SE design. Will definitely be keeping my eye out for Kiwibird products in the future.

Compact USB-C reader that works well

Works great haven’t done. Speed test but is faster than my old usb 2.0 version.I’ve used it with Compact flash, SD & micro SD cards and they all read cleanly

Check that the connector is the correct one for your MAC or PC

I purchase this product so I could read files on my compact flash card. Unfortunately I hadn’t realised that the connection wasn’t the standard USB, it was USB 3 which is completely different so I had to purchase a USB3 to Standard USB connector. Once I had received this everything was fine and I could read the files on my compact flash card.

Good service following a quality problem with 1st delivery.

Used the product 3 times with a CF card. Result was 3 pins bent immediately, the backplate came away from the main case body so product manufacturing issues there to.Following contact and excellent support with the device supplier I was shipped a replacement. This meets requirements as advertised and the first unit I can only put down to being an anomaly.If it wasn't for the original device failure I would happily have given 5*.

great, works brilliantly, excellent build quality. does knock out my macbook 13" wifi when connected but thats a small issue and is more to do with the macbook than the dongle.
