I have been struggling with draught from around the kitchen door and the bedroom window for a few years and tried other excluders to various degrees of success. Some rip apart after a while and others have proved rubbish. This one, however, has done both jobs perfectly. No whisling noises coming from the bedroom window anymore , no draughts, and the room is much warmer now. The kitchen also is warmer and the draught excluder matches the door colour and looks like it is made for double glazed doors and windows. This is a very versatlie product and aesthetically pleasing (looks good). I was also able to reposition it around the door after installing to ensure that the door closes with a prefect fit(I wouldnt do this too many times in order not to wear the very strong adhesive). It has been in place for over two months now and the Mrs approves. All together a fantastic buy

Applied this to the bedroom sash and case windows in my old tenemant flat and it has worked a treat. I would highly recommend it. If applying to sash and case window don't forget to apply a middle strip in between the upper and lower window frames as this strip then squiges up to create a nice tight all round individual seal between both frames (as well as around the window frame edges). Also make sure that you buy enough to get all the windows you need done as there's nothing worse than finding that you're a foot short for what you need to do!

Quite possibly my door is just to far out of shape but this product, fit as directed, has done nothing to stop the draft

This product is excellent when used correctly and in the right locations. Stating the obvious, no gaps are the same width and are not necessarily consistent. I had a number of original internal and external doors to seal in an old Victorian house and used a range of various profiles and thicknesses to achieve a satisfactory result. It's no use using a 3mm profile in a 4mm gap and no use trying to use a 6mm profile in a 1mm gap as the door won't close. In one case I had to use 3 different profiles to seal the leading edge of one warped door.

This tape was a complete disappointment. It only really sticks to itself and does not perform as expected when you actually try to use it for the intended job. Instead of being practical, it quickly became frustrating to deal with. It also feels far too weak, which makes it even worse to use. Rather than being sturdy and easy to handle, it is awkward and difficult to position properly. In my experience, it was basically impossible to install properly, because it would not stay where needed and was more of a nuisance than a solution.

I did try this product in my cold kitchen and I can feel the difference, I have now used the product in every window in the house and I can feel the difference. Recommended.

It sticks well and is easy to install. Makes a noticeable difference to noise and draft coming through old sash windows. Seemed a bit pricey for what it is and length i.e. just a strip of insulation and only enough for a couple of windows. But definitely worth it for what it does.

Déçu. Le produit est annoncé transparent, il est blanc. Acheté pour une porte sombre, il va être voyant au lieu d'être discret. C'est bien dommage que le descriptif soit faux.

I bought them after going through a couple of cheaper rolls. They do their job, the tape is quite sticky and stretch-resistant. The rubber is really soft, so you won't really have trouble with added thickness.

Il silicone é molto piú flessibile che la variante di gomma, infatti l'ho messo su finestre con spacchi di diverse misure. Oltre a impedire all'aria di entrare, isola molto bene dai rumori e anche un po dalle temperature fredde. Montaggio mega facile, incolla bene (io l'ho messo su con -5° temperatura esterna, senza usare il fon per farlo appicciacare ancora di piú. Lo posso raccomandare.

Muy bueno, muy fácil de montar y con un funcionamiento eficiente. Cuidado con la descripción porque es de color blanco, pero teniendo en cuenta que se trata de un burlete, no debería de importar demasiado, ya que no se trata de un objeto de decoración. El sistema con el que está diseñado es muy bueno, lo he instalado en una puerta antigua de terraza y no pensé que aislaría tan bien, e incluso como decía alguien por aquí, también ayuda con los ruidos exteriores. En cuanto al tema de temperaturas no sabría decir, da la sensación de aislar algo, pero todavía es pronto para poder confirmar nada. Por ahora le daré 5 estrellas, ya veremos dentro de un tiempo.

Ich habe alle meine Fenster in den letzten Tagen damit isoliert incl. Wohnungstür. Meine Fenster sind oll und ich habe eine Luftfeuchtigkeit wie in der Waschküche, trotz Heizungs Smart Steuerung, 2-3x Stoßlüften am Tag, Waschtrockner und elektrischem Entfeuchter. Meine Fenster waren ab 8Grad Außentemperatur immer!! richtig beschlagen, Wasser sammelte sich teils sogar auf der Fensterbank und es reichte aus, das Gesicht zu waschen dass die Scheiben im Bad wieder beschlugen. Je kälter es wurde, desto mehr beschlugen die Fenster. Absolut ätzend. Antwort vom Vermieter - Sie müssen mehr Heizen und Stoßlüften. So ein Quatsch. Ich hatte sogar Schiss, dass meine Klamotten im Schrank schimmeln, weil es so feucht und kalt bei mir war, denn heizen bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit bringt so gar nichts an dauerhafter Wärme. Dann hab ich mir die ganzen Geräte oben angeschafft und das hat eine deutliche Verbesserung gebracht. Die Fenster blieben beschlagen, weniger, aber beschlagen. Und jetzt habe ich mir dieses Silikonband gekauft und alles mit dem doppelten Band abgedichtet. Und dann noch die Scheiben Isolierung von tesa angebracht. Ich weiß nicht, was ich sagen soll - 3 Grad heute Nacht - kein Fenster ist beschlagen. Ich hatte 30min nach dem Stoßlüften die Heizung voll an und habe 2 Stunden später noch über 20 Grad in der Wohnung. Mein Entfeuchter holt weiterhin viel Wasser aus der Luft - 30 Liter geschätzt seit einem Monat - Aber die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist seit Anbringung der beiden tesa Artikel nciht mehr wiederzuerkennen. Seit 3 Jahren schlage ich mich mit der Kälte in dieser Wohnung rum und die Summe aller Anschaffungen gleichen nun die verrantzen alten und offenbar undichten Fenster aus. Ich kann beide Produkte nur empfehlen. Nachdem ich mir eine Testpackung gekauft habe, habe ich alle meine Fenster nachgerüstet.
