I have suffered from neck pain for as long as I can remember. Part due to stress, and part due to a neck injury, followed by surgery. Last summer I fell and hurt my neck again, and I've had flare ups of pain every time I do anything out of the ordinary. This last flare up has been pretty bad, with the pain radiating up my neck, jaw, and the side of my face and lasting for 2 weeks. My husband suggested I get a different pillow so I did a lot of research and decided on the Famedio Adjustable Cervical Pillow, (queen size). This pillow is so comfortable, it holds my head in place at just the right position, so that it gently cradles my neck and head. It's firmer than my old pillow, but still feels soft and comfy. It has removable inserts for adjustments, but I didn't have to remove them, it fits perfectly as is. I sleep on my back and my side, and the pillow works in both positions. I don't sleep on my stomach, so I'm not sure how that would work. I can't tell you how nice it is to wake up pain free and to remain pain free throughout the day. If you're having neck pain, you should give this a try, it really works!

I got this to help with my snoring and while it has not helped as much as I liked it has helped some.I can add though that it has helped my neck not hurt as much when I wake up , my shoulders also feel a lot better and I sleep much better. I don't wake up as much and I feel much more rested in the morning.The Customer Service is awesome as well. I would recommend to anyone looking to improve their quality and quantity of sleep ! I did not have to wait for it to get comfortable it was amazing on the first night with no pain or discomfort while transition from a regular style pillow.

All of us in the family have this now and like it. It does take a few nights to get used to it. And as the manufacturer says you may have to make the adjustments to it that are available. My neck and shoulders have finally stopped hurting. This is the first pillow in a long time that has been comfortable. I am.a back sleeper.

This pillow is wonderful for side and back sleeping. Never have a sore neck anymore

I am a 73 year old, side sleeper, 5 '11" tall, 185 Lb. with somewhat broad shoulders, tho I am not an athlete. My issue has always been getting proper support for my neck AND my head. My prior pillow, also purchased on Amazon, was the Coop Home Goods Original Loft Pillow. While it was the best pillow I had used, I rarely woke up the next morning without some neck discomfort OR shoulder pain. I am curious how prevalent shoulder pain is among side sleepers. I think it comes from the head and neck not being propped up high enough and level enough, so that extra weight is brought to bear on the shoulder supporting the body.The Famedio pillow seems to have solved that for me. I did need to contact them and ask them to send me the extra pad. In fact, I needed two pads to prop my head and neck up sufficiently. The result with their pillow, is my neck feels fine in the morning and i have no shoulder pain. Also, I fall asleep in about 30 minutes, vs. 45 minutes to an hour with my former pillow. Also, I sleep more peacefully, as my blankets aren't all messed up on the bed when i wake.I have only been using this setup for a week, but my sleep changes have been pretty consistent, night after night, so I am comfortable writing this review.One hint for people using a pad; I tried putting inside the famedio pillow case, stuffing it into the zippered underside of the pillow. However, doing this requires that a snap be unsnapped. This snap helps create the cavity for your head. With it unsnapped, I found too much of the benefit from the 3D landscape of the pillow was lost. This was not a problem however, as I took out the pad, resnapped the pillow, and simply placed the pad (actually 2 pads), directly under the pillow. The pillow and the two pads stay together well enough. Sure, I would like a more elegant solution, but this one seems to work well. Call me a happy camper that is getting his sleep now!

I am writing this review for others like me.Waking up with neck pain and stiffness is not a default setting of getting old.I was dealing with those issues for months and finally gave in and started purchasing various items to correct it.Of the many pillows I tired, this one did the trick.I appreciate the grove for your head, it really provided a comfortable night sleep. My neck was supported as I slept on my back or my side. Shocked to say that getting the right pillow worked. But after 3 weeks of purchasing and using this pillow I no longer wake up with neck stiffness.

The pillow is helpful and one that I am going to use for a very long time.
