Great value for money and lovely smooth needles. Would buy again. Great quality. The wrap case was not what I expected, its sheer, but it actually looks really nice.

As a new knitter with aching hands (I have a joint condition), I had been advised to use wooden needles. They were very expensive in the shops, and so I was delighted when I found these on amazon. They are amazing value - you get 16 pair of needles, and they have the added bonus that they come in a cotton roll bag to store them. They arrived really quickly, and I have enjoyed using them. My hands are definitely less sore than when I was using metal needles, and the storage bag is great - no more storage problems, I have even managed to store some extra needles with them. The only thing I don't like is that they are a bit long and as a beginner I am not used to that, but my mother says it is better as you can fit on more stitches. I am going to try to get used to them, and if not I will get the shorter set sold by the same seller - they are such good value that I might do that anyway!

I've had these for about a week now and have used them every day for a couple of hours at least. They are great for a beginner I can say. They have a bit of friction so things don't fall too easy but not so much that it's a problem. The case that they come in keeps them in order and makes them easy to store. They are sturdy, even the thin ones. My only issue is that some of the points don't match. By this I mean the needles will be the same size but the tips of the needles are different widths at the ends. I've only found this noticeable on one pair so far and I've tried out about half of the sizes at least. I wouldn't be scared off by this as it's not a big issue really and for the price these are still great in my opinion.Now just so beginners are aware when buying- These are quite long. I like this as I got used to it quickly and it's handy as you can balance a needle on your lap while holding them with one hand. My Mum is also learning and doesn't like the length and doesn't think she will adapt to it. The grip seems great for a beginner. This is also a good range for the price. You can try out different wool sizes and knitting styles without dishing out money. This has worked out great for me and I've picked up knitting very fast.

I recently bought these needles because I wanted to get back to knitting after not doing anything for a while. I have an elbow injury, so one of the things I look for is lightweight needles. These are quite nice - the bamboo is quite sturdy, although of course the smaller gauge ones are more fragile (so take care with them). The size is clearly displayed on each needle.The only thing I don't quite like is the fact that they seem a bit too long, but then again, this might be useful if you plan on working on larger projects. Since they aren't heavy, all you need to do is adjust to the different size.The needles come carefully wrapped in a cotton encasement, which is a definite plus - it's not a flashy or expensive encasement, but it's very nice if you have no place to safely keep them. This is, really, what made me decide on this item, since I was undecided between these needles and another manufacturer's, who didn't offer any type of encasement.

Good needles but unfortunately for my set I had 3 kneedles 6mm and only one 5.5mm

I love the fact that the set comes ina case tied up in ribbon and when undone you just roll it open to see all the bamboo knitting needles laying in individual slotted compartments. This is my first time in using them and I was amazed at how immediately I took to them. I was tired of stitches slipping off the aluminium needles and needed a change. I have tested 4mm 5mm 5.5mm 6mm and 12mm and have no problem with either of them. I have never needed to knit with 1-3mm needles let alone bamboo ones so I don't know how strong they would be to use throughout a course of making something. The other sizes are strong and smooth to hold and use, while maintaining the stitches more firmly on the needles. A reasonable priceand a good purchase for me and would recommend. Having inherited some old steel and wooden knitting needles and bought a few more odd ones from a charity shop (I'm just a beginner so still learning), I thought it was time I bought myself a decent set. On impulse, and attracted by this most reasonable price, I chose this set of bamboo needles. They are very comfortable to use, are warm to the touch, are ever so slightly pliable, so I haven't managed to stab myself with them yet and I really like using them. Another major advantage is that they do not 'click' like steel or wood and, as I love to knit during long train journeys or when sitting next to my husband as he watches TV, I no longer irritate him or my fellow passengers. I recently saw an ancient photo of some young shoeless girls knitting Guernseys and I noticed that, instead of traditional looking knitting needles, they were using something which resembled stripped cane or bamboo, and so perhaps this product is not as unusual as I had thought. Anyway, I'm converted.

These needles are really good quality for the price.They are nothing pro, but I'm not a professional knitter so I'm happy with them.I didn't give 5 starts only because the smaller sizes are very delicate (I believe it's because of the length of the needles).The bigger sizes though (from UK size 6) are comfortable.

My order wasn't supposed to arrive until Oct 3rd at the earliest yet it is Sept. 20th and on my doorstep. The needles are beautiful, super smooth and have enough size variety for nearly any project. They are marked both with mm sizing and US sizing which I did not know when ordering so that was an extra benefit. All in all for a natural product the sizing is 98% consistent for each pair and 95% consistent against the gauge. Though product is marked in half mm increments they generally fit the US marked size except for the size 4 needles which actually fit the size 3 gauge. I ordered 2 sets, one as a gift and both sets measured consistently as listed. They also came with a nice thin cotton storage case that rolls up pretty small for so many sets! For a natural product I am very pleased with what I received! I have fitted them against A Boye Needle gauge and noted some variability: US 17 / 12mm ( no gauge to measure against),US 15 / 10mm ( Fits Loosely),US 13 / 9mm (fits loosely), US 11 / 8mm( fits gauge loosely), 7.5mm, 7mm, US 10 / 6.5mm ( Fits loosely), US 10 / 6mm ( per gauge US10=5.75mm- needle is too large for gauge but notably smaller than the 10.5), US 9 / 5.5mm (US 9= 5.25mm per gauge one needle fits snugly the other slightly large) , US 8 / 5mm (Fits smoothly), US 7 / 4.5mm( fits gauge smoothly), US 6 / 4mm ( US 6 = 4.25mm Fits loosely ), US 4 / 3.5mm( small fits the US 3/ 3 1/8 mm in gauge smoothly), US 2 / 3mm( US 2= 2.75mm Fits gauge), US 1 / 2.5mm(US1=2.25mm despite being marked as 2.5 fits nicely),US 0 / 2mm (slightly large).

Vite reçu, j'ai vérifié l'ensemble à réception car certains avis manifestent de petits soucis avec les aiguilles. Pour ma part : rien de négatif à signaler. Les aiguilles sont toutes présentes et en très bon état (neuf). Pas de manque ni de doublon. Les aiguilles sont vraiment très agréables. Moi qui ne tricote qu'avec des aiguilles en bambou, je n'ai rien à redire. Ensemble acheté car prix très attractif et que j'ai cassé l'une de mes aiguilles en m’asseyant sur mon travail (...), du coup je le termine avec deux aiguilles en bambou de marques différentes. Celle qu'il me reste coûte bien plus cher en magasin spécialisé (plus de 6 € la paire) et honnêtement, il n'y a pas de différence avec l'aiguille de cet ensemble venue pour terminer le travail.Ensemble dans son rangement en tissus, emballé dans un film plastique. Les tailles des aiguilles sont indiquées en mm et en taille US. La solidité semble au rendez-vous également, en tout cas, les aiguilles n'ont rien à envier à leurs semblables au prix plus élevé.Sans hésitation je recommande cet ensemble. Après, il ne faut pas oublier qu'il peut, de temps à autres, arriver qu'une aiguille soit en trop, ou vienne à manquer, arrive endommagée, ou même cassé... mais ce type d'inconvénients peut arriver avec n'importe quelle marque, n'importe quel objet, n'importe quel prix...

Als Hobbystrickerin wollte ich mal Holznadeln ausprobieren - für Socken kannte ich das schon aber für andere Projekte brauchte ich längere Nadeln.Hier habe ich ein großes Set bekommen mit qualitativ sehr hochwertigen Nadeln. Auch nach langem Gebrauch ist mir noch keine gebrochen.Die Oberfläche der Nadeln ist glatt und angenehm und die Nadeln liegen insgesamt sehr gut in der Hand. Auch das Leichte des Bambus und das fehlende Klappern tut gut.Dazu noch die Tasche in der die Nadeln ordentlich sortiert gut aufgehoben sind - was will man mehr.Ich würde Sie jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann Sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
