ProRep KPT005 Tortoise Feed Growing Kit

My tortoise loves this. He gets a little bit of these everyday and once a month we will just pop him in the tray and he will munch away for 15/20mins. We started growing these in September and have only just used the last of the seeds that came with it. Fantastic value, highly recommended.

I feel completely embarrassed and ripped off that I've spent £16 on a plastic box, some cheap soil and one packet of seeds which have started growing very sparsley and basically looks like cress!!!!The box arrived and upon opening I realised the soil bag was not sealed sufficiently and there was soil everywhere - it was a right mess. There was only one packet of seeds even though the instructions/description state there are enough seeds for four sowings. This one packet I've sown has started growing and there's hardly anything there. In fact it looks like cress which is extremely disappointing as it certainly doesn't cost £16 in the shops! I thought this was going to be a good idea as the description states "buying fresh food from the shops can become costly", it then goes on to list over 20 different wild plants. Seriously don't waste your money! Continue to buy from supermarkets or pick weeds yourself!!!!

Mostly happy with this seed growing kit for our new tortoise food. Just one complaint the 2 smaller seed trays for growing said seeds in arrived damaged. One had corner broken where edges meet and was folded down but straighten it out enough and was useable once in larger tray. The second smaller tray was crumpled along shorter edge again managed to straighten enough to use. Plenty of seeds and compost. Will report on how seeds grew once I know.

It arrived quickly. I planted it as per instructions and is now growing successfully!Must say the shoots came through very quickly! The proof however will be in whether my tortoise

Excellent well worth the money and I have reused it to grow more seeds. I actually removed clumps of the grown weed mix and replanted them in the substrate in his tortoise table just kept them watered and he had constant food when required which he enjoys.

Grew only a few centimetres, very disappointed.

I've bought this twice. The first time I only got a few small sprouts that died very quickly. Naturally I assumed I was doing something wrong (it was a few years ago). I tried again this year and same results. Got a few small sprouts of cress but nothing else. And even the small amount that grew didn't last long. Seriously a waste of money.

Nicely packed too soon to comment on growth all looks ok with the kit.
