Handle won't clamp down on taps
The handle cannot be clamped enough to effectively hold the taps. Using a small clamping pliers allowed me to test the taps which worked well.

Taps won't tap, and drills don't drill. Save yourself the hassle of a return by not purchasing this.

Soft steel will not last
I taped 1 hole to M8 on an auto subframe (not very thick metal) and the tape is ruined. It's chipped and the cutting threads are rounded off. Yes it was not expensive but buyer be ware, the tapes are a one time use.

Definitely IS NOT A RATCHET tap holder as advertised. this is junk. find something else to buy

The runout on the bits made them unusable
The bits were poorly made and not usable unfortunately.
