Sweet Tooth Cookie Jar by Streamline Ceramic

Read all reviews prior to purchasing and while I was apprehensive to order with all the reviews of it being broken when arriving and the lid not fitting, I went ahead and very happy I did!! Arrived in one piece, in Styrofoam, and boxed inside another box with wrapping paper around it as well. The Styrofoam was demolished but the cookie jar is in one piece. The lid fits perfectly as well. I don't know if people didn't see that there is a lip on one side that you have to live up to make sure it fits properly and that is why they said the lid doesn't fit, but mine is perfect. This is a Christmas gift for my sister that is a dental hygienist and I know she is going to love it!!

I've seen a few negative reviews for this cookie jar, not sure why. The jar was very well packed, packed in a formed styrofoam box inside the cookie jar box which was inside another larger box.I see absolutely no problems with the quality of the jar, no cracks, chips or glaze flaws.the jar is being given to a dentist and his office staff as a thank you for the work done on my grandson. I'm putting cookies in the jar and then adding extra cookies to a tray to have enough for the entire staff.

Saw this as the perfect gift for a student in dental school, but was wary of some of the negative reviews commenting that the cookie jar arrived broken. I tried my luck though and ordered this with express shipping and was pleasantly surprised to find it arrive in one piece.The actual cookie jar itself comes in a Styrofoam mold snugly fit in the product box which is then wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a larger box.Otherwise, once I cleaned off the Styrofoam bits that covered it, the cookie jar itself was perfect. I didn't have any troubles fitting the lid onto the rest of the tooth as others mentioned. Other than a slightly uneven construction around the lip of the lid (nothing really noticeable or functionally defective), I was thinking maybe people didn't realize the lid only fits on one way. There's an edge on the lid that locks into the bottom of the cookie jar one way only.

Actually if the jar was received in one piece, I'd love it. But, after sending it back after several attempts to receive it in one piece,I finally gave up. If you order this, chances are that it will arrive broken. Even something as simple as taping the jar lid to the jar bodymight prevent breakage, but until they do this-or repackage the product, you WILL receive a broken jar.
