Halo Master Chief 31-Inch Action Figure

Although these huge figures by Jakk's Pacific are intended to be for kids, they are actually really well made. They have excellent sculpting, with lots of detail. The armour on Master Chief is accurate, and he looks very impressive in height and as a representation of the character. The only downside to these figures is the paintwork. It tends to be quite flat and devoid of small details. Master Chief has a flat mid-green tone on his armour, and a grey-black undersuit which looks like base coat. His visor is also a very obvious and cheap looking orange colour. This is only a minor quibble though, and you can easily paint more details onto these figures with a little skill and care. I have ordered a pot of gold paint to re-paint his visor, and may add some detailing work to the armour, such as dry brushing silver onto it to create paint scuffs so it looks battle-worn.The assault rifle is quite decent, with the only downside being that it too has a flat paint job and is a little too thin. It also resembles the classic assault rifle in colour scheme, as opposed to Halo 5's effort.The figure is also hollow, meaning it can be placed pretty much anywhere without worries about it being too heavy. If it were heavier, then there is a risk if it fell over of damaging people or objects. Having a lighter weight means that manufacturing and shipping costs are lower, and this results in a higher quality sculpt. Master Chief has limited articulation. He has rigid legs with no knee-bends and his arms are restricted in movement too. His left arm is rigid with some degree of wrist movement, whilst his right arm has an elbow-bend alongside wrist movement. He can hold the assault rifle with both hands, but his left hand does not quite connect with the rifle, somewhat spoiling the visual aspect. Plus, in the games, Master Chief has black and green gloves. On this model, they have chosen to colour the gloves entirely green. The undersuit on the shoulders is also coloured green, when it would look better in black, but I can accept that in Halo 5, you do see 2-tone undersuits.Overall, this is a very impressive figure with a high quality sculpt that works best as a display statue. Highly recommended if you have the space.Update: I have customised my figure, adding detail and more paint tones. Also I painted his visor gold.

Was not sure as it was so cheap for such a huge figure, need not have worried it is brilliant, a real centrepiece for my collection

Im not a Halo game player but this figure looks awesome next to my 4 foot Darth Vader.Nerdtastic! Delivered on time & nicely packaged.All in all, Very pleased.

Die Figur kam schnell an.. wie immer in einer ordentlichen Verpackung.. die Figur ist sehr groß und wirkt optisch nicht billig.. die Arme sind beweglich und die Figur steht sehr fest auf dem Boden.. sie wackelt also nicht.. Preis Leistung in so einer Größenordnung müsste es öfters geben..

Très bel objet. Le plastique est de bonne qualité, la finition est excellente, les couleurs sont homogènes et la peinture d'excellente qualité. Pour le prix, un tel niveau de détails est bluffant. C'est lourd, même si on est surpris que ça ne le soit pas plus.On peut regretter qu'il n'y ait pas plus d'axes de mouvement, mais la finition s'en ressentirait. Clairement, c'est plus un objet de décoration qu'un jouet. Les vis sont située à l'arrière de la statue, et cela ne nuit pas à l’esthétique. Placée tel que présentée, les vis sont invisibles.Debout, elle est bien stable, et posée sur un meuble, c'est impressionnant.

Ok molto semplice, dal bacino in giù è fisso mentre il busto, testa e braccia si muovono. Il fucile fatto bene è attaccato alla mano destra mentre il jetpack posteriore si può sganciare, ma è più bello con. Materiale resistente, dipinto bene. Ottimo per il terzo compleanno di mio figlio che, incuriosito, mi ha costretto a fargli vedere tutti i film di halo :) giustamente :)
