Seiko Men's Analogue Automatic Watch with Textile Strap – SNZG09K1

I had one of these a few years ago - my son stole it and lost it. He's now bought his own. the strap is really strong, the watch face is lovely, not too fussy but easy to read. My only gripe is that the glass is made of hardlex, which does scratch.(I believe it's Seiko's own invention, it's good at withstanding direct impacts). I think you can have an after market glass fitted to this, and that would be worth doing in my opinion as this is a lovely looking watch.

Very smart looking watch, pleased with my purchase as it was a good price as well. Looked at a lot of websites and watches but found nothing to match this Seiko

A quality watch. Does claim to be waterproof to100m which means you swim with it but not scuba dive. But without a screw down crown I would only treat it as splash proof. Easy to read, well made including the strap which is nice for a Seiko. Military style and good for casual daily use. Mechanism is reliable but does not use the newer Seiko NH35 movement so this watch has no winding mechanism and you have to do the "Seiko shake" to make it run from stopped. Also no hacking so it keeps ticking when you pull out the crown making setting the time only minute accurate. All of these features were expected but for the price I would have liked to see a more modern movement. So I down graded the vote for the price vs aging mechanism.

Simply superb. Tested against an on-line accurate timezone clock, this watch gained just 2 seconds in 24 hours. It's a bright easy to read dial, its very nicely made with a quality woven textile strap and at current offers is a bargain. The 7S36 movement remains one of Seiko's most robust even if not their top model, yet it is well regulated and keeps brilliant time. Highly recommended...you won't buy a better mechanical watch for the money. The bonus with this model is that you can keep it on when swimming or in the shower as it is 100m waterproof.

Great watch, slightly larger than it's Seiko 5 SNK counterpart so has more presence on the wrist but, looks very functional and has all the usual Seiko feel of quality.If you're not a watch geek then, bear in mind that the automatic movement in this watch does not feature a winder so it works only off of energy from your own movement and the seconds hand does not stop when you adjust the time on it; this is typical of quality watches in this price bracket.It's a classic Seiko automatic and worth more than anything you'll buy from a shopping channel!!!

Doesn't keep time well, and loses power quickly. I'm a Seiko fan but not a fan of this watch. I have another self winding Seiko and it keeps time and doesn't lose power like this does. Not a keeper.

This is my first watch at the age of 40. I love this watch to Me it's a homage of the gi watch in vietnam but is just a very handsome enjoyable cheap watch.
