MONIN Premium Gin Flavour Syrup 700 ml

I discovered this by accident and I'm so glad that I did! For people who no longer consume alcohol (for whatever reason) this is the perfect substitute. Gin and the whole taste of the juniper berry is such a wonderful aroma too, Monin have definitely captured it here. As with any cordial type drinks, you don't need to use too much, but I usually mix it with sparkling water and a slice of lemon (there's posh for you!) and that's it! Job done! Very refreshing. One thing I will comment on is why Amazon has put an alcohol warning on this product!!! IT DOESN'T CONTAIN ALCOHOL!!!! Very similar to when you buy alcohol free beer or wine at the supermarket and they have to security check it!!! Pure madness!!!

In a way to still feel like an adult whilst drinking a soft drink, I tried mixing a splash of this with normal tonic water and you get what tastes exactly like the full-blown G&T.You need very little to create the amazing taste so I would imagine that the 700ml will last a very long time. When you work out how many drinks you can make from the full bottle, this works out to be a bargain, despite seeming a little pricey at first.I will definitely be replacing this, eventually... When it's time.

I no longer drink alcohol and thought I'd give this a try because I miss the odd G&T - I must say I was impressed by this syrup from Monin. Whilst of course, it's not going to be quite the same as actual gin, it tastes quite authentic mixed with tonic water and a slice of lime and I think it may well be the closest you'll get to actual G&T without the alcohol. Great for mocktails too as a gin replacement. I'll definitely be ordering more!

Don’t think gin and tonic. About 10ml of Monin with a decent tonic water gives a nice Monin and tonic water. If you are expecting a non alcoholic gin and tonic you may be disappointed, but it is a good non alcoholic substitute!

This alone won't really give you a GIN taste , but used with some Seedlip non alcohol spirit does.for my taste 1 part of this 2 parts seedlip + your mixer works well..you don't need much syrup so it's good value for money....Seedlip can be found on this site..Enjoy..

Bought the aniseed flavour first which is wonderful, so then ordered this 'gin flavour hoping it would be as good as the other. Sadly disappointed, tastes nothing like gin and smells disgusting, had to pour it away, I can't imagine anyone enjoying drinking this. A waste of money

A pleasant enough sweet lemon syrup which I would never choose to drink or pay the gin flavoured premium . Tastes nothing like Gin which I was hoping for and as advertised . Undiluted smells like industrial cleaner .

Bought this for my partners man who can't drink anymore. She absolutely loved it and it tastes great with ice. This does not taste like gin but it comes quite close. Add a tiny amount to some ice and squeeze some lemon juice on it and fill the glass up with tonic it will taste great!
