Super printer.. after using 2 months writing this review. Easy to use.

Print quality is good...but quite slow. WiFi connection with mobile takes tons of time. Otherwise okk.

INDTALLATION IS EASY AS PER MANUAL, AND PRINTER IS GREAT, BUT INK CONSUMPTION IS MORE COMPARED TO OTHERS PHONE CONNECTIVITY TO PRINTER IS GOOD THROUGH WIFI, BUT WITH LAPTOP IS NOT BEING INTEGRATED PROPERLY, AS PER COST IT IS GOOD

I’m really disappointed with this printer. First of all, it says “2-sided printing,” but it’s not automatic. You have to manually flip the paper to print on the other side — so it’s not real duplex printing. The printing speed is also way slower than what they mention. For colour prints, they say 24 ppm (which should be around 2.5-3 seconds per page), but in reality, it takes around 25 seconds for each colour page. For black-and-white, they claim 30 ppm, but it actually takes 15 seconds per page. Even the scanning quality is not good. Some scanned pages came out unclear and blurry, and the scanning speed is very slow. It takes a lot of time to scan even a single page. Also, the installation was supposed to be done within 72 hours of delivery. But even after 48 hours, no one contacted me. I got a call later and the installation finally happened after 72 hours. On the first day itself, a paper got stuck inside the printer. I used a clean sheet directly from the packet, so there was no issue with the paper. I tried opening the front door to remove it, but it didn’t come out. I had to call a known technician to remove it. Overall, many of the features mentioned on Amazon are misleading. Please don’t blindly trust everything that’s written.

The printer does what is says - Pros: 1) Print from anywhere (remotely) definitely a useful feature these days. 2) wireless printing (on wifi) via laptop/mobile reduces dependency on one person at home to take printouts via laptop. 3) wired printing via laptop. 4) claims to print 12000 black and 6000 color pages. Probably coz you get two black re-fill bottles and one for each color. Page yield claim does seem to be correct cause I ended up printing approximately 40 pages only trying to set/configure it correctly and ink tank seems to be intact with no visible change in ink levels. 5) print quality is great as well and you have option to chose from best/ draft and automatic option depending on the purpose of the printing. 6) HP smart app is the key to use this prier and make use of all these features. Cons: 1) Painful setup experience. If you don't follow the steps properly. It is really difficult to seti it up correctly and pair with HP smart app. Wasted 1 complete day to figure out how to set it up correctly once is messed up on initial setup. Not intuitive at all. 2) No duplex printing on a printer over 15K price. That's a bit of disappointment. With a claim of 6000 pages yield per black refiller it is a no brainer people buying this would need auto duplex printing feature as well. Overall, good buy if you can live without auto duplex and ADF. You end up paying extra initially for the product but the running cost is a lot cheaper than the deskjet/inkjet printers.
