Works as expected!
This works as expected and without drama. However, it is worth noting that the large size of the plate will extend over the edges of some induction cooktops. I have a dual Gastrorag induction unit. The problem, is my fault, but should be noted, the plate extends over the central mastic filled gap on the cooktops. The heat in the plate radiated into the mastic and melted some of it so there's a gap for fluids to leak into the electronics of the induction unit. Again, this is not a fault with the plate. It is a caution if you have a similar cooktop. Otherwise it works fine, is great value but is hard to clean without abrasive/scouring cleaners. Overall I'd recommend it.

Works great
Nice adapter plate for my induction cooking appliance. I wanted to use my aluminum pans with non-stick surface for cooking eggs. This adapter plate allows me to use the aluminum pans with my induction cook top.

Induction adapter works well with uneven bottoms and metals that are not magnetic.
Worth the cost. Speeds up induction in pots that are SS or do not have perfectly flat bottoms.

Makes induction even better
We only have a couple of cooking utensils that are not induction-ready. One is my beloved non-stick omelet maker, a classic harvest gold number from the 70s. I've made hundreds of fluffy, fabulous omelets in it over the decades. But alas, when we switched to an induction cooktop a couple of years ago, I had to furlough this cheap little no-name aluminum treasure. Fortunately I wasn't willing to part with it, because I recently came across this excellent "cheater" plate, which gets hot from the induction process and radiates that heat into non-induction materials, including my omelet maker and even non-metal containers that can stand the heat and stay in the kitchen. We also have a set of wonderful hand-me-down stainless steel Salad Master cookware that includes one pan that, for some reason, won't work on induction. With this 9.45" adapter plate heat diffuser, this high-end Salad Master pan has also rejoined our array of "active" cookware. This is the best $25 we've spent in a while.

Probably not the best choice for an induction cooktop
I had great hopes when we bought a new Bosch induction cooktop in the newly re-designed kitchen. Problem was, we had great pots and pans but none, except the cast iron fry pans, were induction compatible. I thought we had found a work-around with this disk but it really isn't a good choice. Gets very hot and that heat doesn't really transfer to the pot or pan above very well. In the end, we donated virutally all our pots and pans (Including those Henckels fry pans in which NOTHING would stick) and bought new induction-ready stuff. I did like the removable handle and the idea but it just didn't work well for us.
