I required a new laptop as one of the shoulder straps on my old one broke, I therefore wanted a backpack that was manufactured to a high quality as I do not wan5 to keep replacing them over and over.This one has many great reviews, I read them all before deciding to purchase - but I did physically look at a couple of premium branded, far more expensive backpacks prior to ordering, however they were too small for my requirements.Due to the great reviews and manufacturers description, my expectations for this one were very high and had it not lived up to those expectations, I would not have hesitated to return it.I am very pleased to say that not only did it meet my expectations, it exceeded them my a huge degree, the quality of the materials and zippers is fantastic, it is well made, thoughtfully designed, feels strong and has plenty of room for my laptop and gadgets as well as some cloths and travel accessories.There are pockets for everything that I need and it was great too that a small combination lock was included with this backpack for added security.Being able to compare some top branded, very expensive backpacks with this one, the immediate comparison does not give me any regrets about purchasing one at this price point, the only unknown will be the durability and performance in the long term, but I am feeling very confident that this will be long lasting. Having been using this daily for two weeks already, there are no signs of any issues - and I believe that you would normally see the start of something early on.If I have one slightly negative comment it is regarding the Velcro strap that secures the laptop compartment, this is quite tough to pull open and I feel that this will tear with time, even then this will not prevent overall, use of the backpack. It would have probably been better to have designed this feature with some form of quick release clip - maybe a thought for the next model?In summary, this backpack is worth every single penny - and more, I am in fact staggered that this can be purchased for this price (I also used the 10% off voucher that makes it even better) . An excellent bag for day to day use.I chose this bag because it is the perfect size to carry everything I need for my job, but is small enough to fit inside my locker at work. It is comfortable to use, is capable of carrying quite heavy loads, it's surprisingly spacious. The numerous zippered pockets offer a good level of organisation, too.The one drawback I have found is that the bag is NOT water resistant as claimed in the description. It may be fine under a light shower, but anything heavier than that goes straight through the outer layer. Luckily for me, nothing inside the bag has been damaged due to rain, but my trust in the bag has been shaken and I will shortly be buying a raincover to add further protection.

Great replacement at good price, i use this daily and is well made. Lots of pockets and bigger than most standard rucksacks. Still gets on flights as hand luggage without issues. Water resistant is good. Sturdy zippers

This has loads of useful compartments and is very nicely constructed. For instance the handle has a strong steel cable running through it so it’s almost unbreakable.The interior is very nicely lined and I particularly like the hard shelled pocket to keep a pair of glasses. A lot of thought went into the design and the materials used seem of high quality. For what it’s worth, I would highly recommend this if you are after a 50l backpack

I really, really wanted a bag that could carry a laptop and some writing pads and a much larger space to fit a food bag and water bottle. I've made a few mistakes. I really lucked out on this one as it's perfect for me. There is a large space to put different sized bags into, also fit a 1 litre bottle of water and while the side pockets aren't huge, there are support straps where you can run one through a bottle's handle so it can stay in the side pocket, held firmly. There are other straps and hooks if you need to add more, so you could take it as an overnight bag. The handle has a cable through it which is couched in a plastic tube over the fabric handle, so it's extra tough and you won't be ripping that. All in all, it's a great laptop bag, but without any food bag in it, it looks compact.

I wanted a bag for taking onto regular flights for as hand luggage. I looked at an Oakley bag which was over a £100 more, but a similar size and style. I am very impressed with the quality and rugged feel of the bag overall, there's plenty of different pockets for all manner of things. An impressive grab handle with a sturdy cable running through it.

Love the space in this, easy to carry two laptops, chargers etc and loads of space to spare. Pockets all over the place which I appreciate. Easy and comfortable to wear and really good value.

This bag has now been in service for almost three years, so this review is a long time coming. However, I can report that the bag is in excellent condition – nary a scuff, and everything working as it should. It's been backwards and forwards to work with me, day in, day out, and at work it moves around the building wherever I go, thrown into corners or under desks, depending on what I'm doing at the time. It's also been in and out of aircraft overhead lockers many times. And it's still showing no signs of falling to pieces. I can't remember a computer backpack ever lasting this long.On top of that, it has the most amazing storage capacity for its size. It's the Tardis of laptop bags. I have actually had to take quite a lot of stuff out of it to reduce weight (and because I was constantly having to open it for airport security, what with all the electronic cables and bits and pieces that I use in my job as an online teacher).Highly recommended.
