It’s made of thin stretchy synthetic fabric which snugly fits around (see the photo). I was worried it’d look cheap or not very nice - but it’s great - simple yet pretty. Definitely recommend.

The Diaper Genie Expressions Diaper Pail cover really does make the Diaper Genie Expressions look nice. We use ours in the bathroom for items that cannot be flushed down and for the dog training pads. Place items in a bag, tie it, and toss it in the Diaper Genie Expressions. Diaper Genie Expressions is attractive and keeps the bathroom smelling fresh. The Diaper Genie Expressions can also be used for cat litter, but we found the  Playtex Diaper Genie Complete Assembled Diaper Pail with Odor Lock Technology & 1 Full Size Refill, Pink (1 pail and 1 refill per unit)  in pink works better for that. This sleeve is AWESOME! I bought the Playtex Diaper Genie and I noticed on the box you can purchase designer sleeves to dress up the pal. The genie is nice, but very white and basic looking.Now that I have received the Grey sleeve it enhanced the look of the genie and now goes with the flow of the nursery. It was very simple to install and it made or high quality material. When stretched over the pal the image/pattern is not distorted and they color does not seem to fade.This is a great product and I highly recommend it!
