Floor Dusting Machine!
My 1900s home has original hardwoods throughout. This works much better than the original dyson for sucking up dust and grabs hair just as well. It is able to go from hardwoods to rugs without issues, though it doesn't appear to clean rugs as thoroughly nor would I expect it to. Unlike the original which can articulate a full 90 degree angle, this one has a much more limited range of motion, but I don't think this is an issue.Overall, I am very happy with this item so far. Time will tell how well it holds up and I will update my review if it breaks or I have any issues down the line.

Stopped working after 3 months
This replacement soft roller cleaner head stopped working after 3 months. Perhaps we were just unlucky, but won't be buying this off brand again.

Overall Seems to Work Well
The head connects well with my Dyson vacuum, everything works, fit is snug, etc. For the month or so I’ve been using it, the rollers have held up well and maintenance has been easy.On hard floors, this seems to clean really well without scratching. The rollers pick up the dust and dirt (and pet hair, so much pet hair.), and overall, it just works as well as an official version.For the heck of it, I went ahead and tried out the head on some carpet, and unsurprisingly that didn’t work well. Really, the head is made for hard floors, I’m not sure it would do much even on a rug. I did remove a star for this, because even made for hard floors, if you have an area rug you’re probably going to need another attachment. The official ones I’ve used tend to do slightly better on carpets or rugs, even designed for hard floors.Overall, with my experience I would recommend this replacement head for hard floors as long as you don’t have a lot of rugs around, or you don’t mind having a second main attachment just to clean them.

After 4 months roller stopped rotating.
Should have ordered directly from Dyson. Purchased for use on new hardwood floors. $65 plus wasted on this Amazon purchase. Very disappointed.
