Works great and easy to use
Used to put hotel tv into regular mode vs Hotel mode. Then I can plug my various items into the HDMI ports just like home. Just need to know how to do the mode change on the hotel tv which a simple goog search will tell you how to do that part. The point of this IR device is if the hotel uses a specific hotel remote control vs what you have at home.

Horrible. Setup seemed easy. Then it just didn't work at all.

Must download the ocrustar app
Works just fine I was so mad when it wasn't recognized by my phone. went through the reviews and got even angrier because most said it did not work. Then I came across one that said to download the acrustar app and bingo it worked won't work with any other app

Pretty cool gadget. I havent found a device with an IR receiver it cant control. Fun little bar trick to change the chanel right before a play, but make sure you complain like everyone else.Ocrustar is the andoid app (free) i use to control it.

Not Compatible with iPhone 15
This accessory does not seem to be compatible with iPhone 15, in spite of all the photographs of this accessory with an iPhone.The iPhone does not recognize the accessory at all.The accessory came with no instructions. The only thing it had was a sentence on the packaging stating "Scan QR code. Download the APP and watch the operating instructions". The QR code points to a web site that doesn't work anymore.After some research, I figured out that I should be able to use the Ocrustar app, so I downloaded that. As soon as I booted that up, it gave a warning that the usb-c interface for IR accessories was different on iOS devices than Android devices, and immediately told me that I did not have an iOS IR accessory plugged in - even though I did.Very disappointing.

Didn't work on my Samsung S23. Not sure if it is not compatable or if it is borken.

Works great!
After installing the Ocrustar app on my phone and plugging into USB the device was recognized and launched the app automatically. Pairing with Samsung TVs was quick and easy. Working as expected. The keychain ring is very convenient and makes it easy to keep with you for when you might need it. Very happy with it.

Doesn’t work
The product doesn’t work I plugged it into several devices and it never turned on I don’t recommend buying this as it doesn’t work.
