Unless you have deep socket boxes in the wall then these may be difficult to fit, especially if your cabling comes into the paten box through the bottom on a shallow box. The USB part protrudes behind at the bottom and there is not enough clearance for cables to fit easily. Also you need to add an earthing link between sockets on the box as the earth are not linked! One further point is the lack of red marking to clearly identify if the switch is on or off. Pretty obvious which way it is but not everyone would automatically know. All that aside, buying a pack of five was a bargain price so you get what you pay for. I do like the clip on surround that hides the screws once installed. Would I recommend them. No! Spend the extra and get ones that fit better and easier to install.

We had a double socket on the wall for a tv fixed with a wall bracket, have not moved my sons bedroom about and the tv is no longer on the wall so we have changed it to this nice black socket so it blends in better now it is exposed, don’t want to get rid of the socket as will most likely change the room back eventually and will need the socket there. So this does the job well, it looks modern and is made well. Would highly recommend

Had these uninstalled for some time as there were for a garden room that was being built. When the electrician came to install them he refused saying they were dangerous as they were not earthed and therefore not to British Standard. The attached picture shows the new British Standard sockets and you can clearly see the metal earth bar going across on the top socket and that there is no earth bar on the bottom socket. We are now past the return/refund period so have had to buy all new ones again.
