Gear4 PG542G Angry Birds Portable Speaker for Smartphone and Tablet (Red)

As with a lot of people nowadays, I have an mp3 player that can store hundreds, even thousands of songs on a single device. Rather than having to listen to the music through earphones, I wanted to experience the songs I like on a decent speaker. It isn't an easy task to find a speaker that is compact yet produces clear, rich and detailed sound with that necessary base sound.I have tried mp3 player speakers in the past and have been disappointed. Thankfully, however, this 'Angry Bird - Red Bird' speaker suited my needs very well. It's compact as well as easy to carry and move about from room to room, whilst producing very clear sound with very good base. You can connect any device that has a 3.5mm headphone jack, such as a portable games console, tablet and even an old cassette player you may have lying around.It feels well made and of high quality. There are controls on the back of the bird for volume and bass. I highly recommend this for fans of the 'Angry Bird' series and for people wanting to enjoy their digital music outside of listening with headphones.

This is a very interesting "boom box" to use whit any device (not just iPod).Although the 2 loudspeakers and Woofer are very close together the sound quality will surprise you, plus it as enough power output (Watts) to be used outdoors and still make a presence.The Angry Birds theme is excellent and built quality is good. The only weak part is the stand for the connected device... it does not accommodate devices that have 3.5mm jack on bottom side, so you have to put the device in landscape position (my iPod Touch 4th gen have to be on the horizontal position if i want to use the stand.) Also the stand is not suitable to 10 inch tablets... i've tried to balance my Asus TF101 with no success.If you like Angry Birds and need a decent 2.1 system that is compact and very portable this is a good choice.

Great fun and excellent sound! I was very pleasantly surprised about the overall quality of the device, particularly in terms of sound, given the gimmicky/toy nature of the object. It is also very versatile (can be plugged into different devices) and portable. So, all in all, it offers very good value for money, especially if you are an Angry Bird fan like my son (for whom I bought it)...and myself !! The added bonus was a very prompt delivery, so, altogether, excellent and well deserved five stars!

i looked everywhere for this and found it for a good price on amazon.this was a present for my mum's birthday - which she loved!the sound is really really good, and a lovely bass sound which you can adjust. the cable to connect the ipod to is good as you can use anything which has a headphone port/plug.we use this more then the radio.id recommed this wether your a fan of angry birds or not, its a great novelty item and great for party music.

I chose this after reading the other reviews and they were right. The sound quality is absolutely excellent. My eight year old got this for Christmas to go with his new ipod. He loves it. Arrived quickly and the packaging was just as nice as the product. We are not allowed to throwe the box away, as he uses it in his games! Would definately recommend.
