Huge waste of money
I can't get the bars adjusted right so that the baby can get into it and my Mare out of it. Not to mention there is no obvious way to get this thing hung up unless I go buy the hardware needed and permanently put holes in my stall. I'm so disappointed I ever bought this. I just feed my baby by hand.

Front rim needs to be reinforced.
I’ve used theses feeders for years as choices are few in this style. But the flaw is the front rim cannot hold up to my mares grabbing it with their teeth and shaking it to get to the grain and it eventually breaks and dislodges the bars. A metal reinforcement along the front should solve this issue. Other than that the feeder is well made.

Foal was not interested in eating from it
This was a little challenging to hang up and at the recommended height, all my foal did was poop into it. It kept her mother out of the feed, but the filly was not interested in eating from this feeder.

Totally worthless
If i get the bars to where foal will fit, it is enough room for my mare to eat it all, and she is a draft. If the bowl was deeper it might work.It is also a poor design. Drop a nut in the bedding (which holds bars in place), might as well go get another nut. How about a latch system, which would make it easier to undo the locking lid, which would make adjusting the bars easier.I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.SO DISAPPOINTED.
