I received it and it works great! It displays the vehicle on screen while starting it.

I'm an ASE master certified tech A1-A9 with 20 years experience working on vehicles and installing systems. I've also purchased viper systems, including these same models before, installed and used them without any issues.I suspect the units these people are selling are either refurbished or returns because each one I received had an issue. The first one failed with the horn relay in the remote start module being stuck on. It happened in the middle of the parkinglot and had to disable the unit to get the vehicle to start.The second one on different vehicle has had an intermittent issue for about 2 years now. The remote will say "BRAKE ON" when you go to start the vehicle in the morning and will refuse to start. What that indicates is the module is seeing the brake pedal depressed and will refuse to start.Thinking maybe it was the truck, I checked the wiring and even went as far as replacing the brake light switch (TWICE). The unit still experienced the issue, but it was intermittent so I mostly ignored it. Today the unit has gotten progressively worse and has done this more often, and knowing that viper has a limited lifetime warranty, I asked the seller for support.They refused to help at all, even though I offered to give them a deposit if they send me another one. I would not recommend this seller.

The remote should have recessed buttons. I always accidentally start my vehicle or shut it off, etc.
