Initial results look good
Been a few years since I have purchased an acerola chrrry product. Went looking and chose this. My first test was this latest coming off this latest flu ( not Covid-19) . Scratchy throat, nasal congestion coming on, sneezing starting. I took several scoops, not the label instructions. Therapeutic levels, for those in the know, can be several thousand of milligrams. Make use of these levels for treatment but not long term. My concern it that experienced by a friend who was using high levels and subsequently developed kidney stones. He related to me urologists practically gave each other high fives knowing that money would soon be flowing into their back pockets. He suffered that fate as a likely result. Back to me. All symptoms gone in the morning. Would not have otherwise played out that way. If you have the right natural form of C , or any other vitamin, it will outperform all the synthetic ones. It also has a treasure trove of phytonutrients, mineral complexes, and or amino acids that complement the bodies ability to metabolize what you are taking. In other words a little carries a much greater throwweight. Worth trying.Btw it will mix. Just not instantly.

Hard as a Rock!
Unfortunately, I did not open this product within the "return" timeframe. However, I did open it well before its expiration date. The powder is literally as hard as cement. I can't even break it up with a knife or a fork. It is completely unusable. I use a lot of Nutricost products and have not had any problems with them in the past.

Yummy
Using it for juice. Use 1 teaspoon acerola powder and 1 tablespoon sugar in a 1/2 pint glass. Stir powder into sugar to prevent lumps before adding very warm water. Very hot boiling water cooks it and then taste is not yummy. For tea, use only 1/4 tsp acerola powder and 1 tsp sugar to 5 oz pretty hot water, but still not too hot.Vitamin C is a side benefit to the taste.

Great C Boost
While it is a bit bitter- it mixes easily with anything in a blender. I add it to a fruit and almond milk smoothie I drink to break my fasts. My only reason for dropping a star is that the label present on the webpage and that on the container are vastly different. One has 400 something servings while the true label shows 80 something. Either way, it’s a great deal for megadosing vitamin C.

I will buy again
With supplements, if you don't have a deficiency you can measure, it's tough to know if they are really working. But I can tell you, on the surface, the formulation is good, you get a lot for your money and I would definitely buy this product again.

Not impressed with this product for a number of reasons.
I really dislike giving negative reviews, but this product gets on my nerves every day. I have previously purchased a 2 lb bottle of regular vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) from this company and was completely happy with it. A local purveyor of supplements told me I should use "more natural vitamin C" after that ran out, so being happy with my previous product I bought this. The product tends to solidify, even in a dry, cool area. There is so much residue on the scoop that has to be scraped off to get an accurate measure, so I just switched to the 1Gr scoop from the other product. I frequently have to take the scoop out and "knead"/shake the closed container to get it back to a powder consistency. Next the product is "sticky", which is probably part of the solidifying problem. It sticks to the scoop, sticks to the threads of the container making it hard to open or close, or clean up if powder gets on the counter or something. Extending the sticky, when I dump a scoop in a 12+ oz cup of water it absorbs water, becomes a sticky clump, and sinks to the bottom of the cup, where it has to be scraped off with a spoon and takes more work than necessary to get it to dissolve in the water. I have a meal replacement shake for breakfast every other day and don't mind it for that, because I just dump it in the ninja cup with everything else and blend it. I don't mind how it tastes when finally mixed - I was taking the regular Vit C a half gram at a time and that could get pretty strong, but this is hardly noticeable at all, probably considering the lower amount of C in it. Not sure if I just got a weird bottle or it was just exposed to humidity before I got it, but I don't plan to order it again after I use up what I have.
