I agree with other reviewers, this book although an easy read is simply a reference book of quotes and cuttings from papers and interviews given, it lacks insight and passion that an auto-biography obviously would have.I fail to see how who fancied her at college or why friends think she dressed in baggy clothes is relevant, but all this information can be gleaned from the internet so no revelations here and it jumps about a bit with no formatOverall to a huge Nigella fan it was disapointing but passed some time on the loo..

Lovely book for me, though I am probably biased as I love nigella, it was really nice to read her past and what she has been through, that has given me more respect for her. The book goes into some depth and verbally is nice to read for me. I have it in both paper and kindle versions.

An inconsistant and badly written book. It is full of tittle tattle which tries to impress and gain credibility by quoting so called 'names' from amongst the wealthy and celebrity members of society.Often contradictory without explanation or clarification. This book contains nothing of substance and clearly demonstrates the author's lack of real knowledge of her subject. What we are given is a series of second and third hand opinions and recollections cobbled together and labelled as a biography.A waste of time and money.

Could not remember even reading this book! She comes across as a perfectly nice woman and I enjoy watching her programmes on tv but found the book rather bland and did not learn anything I hadn't already read about elsewhere.

Good book
