Fuzion Shipping Scale, 440LB x 10g High Accuracy Postal Scale, Hold & Tare

Excellent and simply designed, multi-purpose weight scale was just what I was looking for. I needed a scale to be able to weigh one of my ducks at home and liked the simplicity of this one. I popped two batteries in and tested it. The reader is straightforward and easy to operate and most importantly, it's accurate. I set the mode on mine for pounds and ounces, but you can toggle through the modes to choose what's best for what you're weighing. I cut-to-size a piece of non-skid shelf liner and added that to the top so that my duck has some secure footing when resting on the weight plate (without it, she would slip). For my situation, I like that the reader is separate from the plate, so that I can see it while the duck is being weighed. The whole set up worked beautifully. She was comfortable on the plate and I used the "hold" function to keep the reading of weight in place after I removed her. I'll keep it as her scale, but you can really use this scale for multiple purposes. Super happy with it and it's a good value.

Great scale! The carbon fiber design looks clean, and the detached screen makes reading weights easy even with large packages on top. It's accurate, simple to use, and feels very durable. Highly recommend!

Great scale, easy to use, something that I love is the small screen with big Numbers that shows you the exact weight! And you don’t need to be worry about batteries, just plug it into the wall outlet, that guarantee accuracy.

I bought it to weigh fertilizer for my lawn. I can use a 5gal. bucket on the scale to weigh the fertilizer. Worked Great.

Pros: -I really like the size of the scale and the display is easy to use/read. -I like that it handles large amounts of weight. Cons: -I don't like that the cords are not really long enough. To keep the scale on the floor, you can't put the display on a counter or mounted at counter height and lifting heavy boxes to the counter isn't really practical. The coiled cord does stretch far enough but it is so coiled that when there is no box on the scale it starts to pull it up off the floor. The power cord is not very long either-both need to be about 2 feet longer for best use. -The scale reads different weights when on battery vs plugged in. Makes me question it's accuracy all together. -The scale doesn't stabilize well and the weights bounce around. Absolutely could not be used to weight anything living that moves around even when trying to be still. (Like I wouldn't use it if I was shipping live fish or something like that) -The controller doesn't hold "last used" memory for settings so every time I turn it on I have to set it to the settings I want-first world problem, I know, but in business time is money and when you are trying to box up and weigh multiple packages in a day having to do this each time I turn it on is annoying and time consuming. Overall, when plugged in it gives a reasonable weight range that is acceptable for our use but if you need accuracy or exact weights I would pick a different unit. When it goes out, I won't be buying this model/brand again. I would have returned it if I didn't miss the return window so until it breaks, I am stuck with it's small annoyances. 3 stars because it gets close on weight, the plate is nice and large to hold larger boxes, and because I couldn't do 2.5 stars.

Nice scale for the price and pretty accurate, it was a good addition to the workshop.

I tested this scale after receiving it, and found that although it reliably provides APPROXIMATELY correct weight readings, the actual readings on a test item that weighs (item plus container tare) approximately 30 pounds varied way too much when that item was weighed several times within a few minutes. The variance from lowest reading to highest reading was almost half a pound, which is inadequate accuracy for my work processes. I liked the broad range (up to 440 lb) which was way beyond my needs, but the lack of accuracy in the most important weight range (a couple of ounces to a maximum of 50 lb) was just not good enough for my needs, and the lack of consistency on the same item is disturbing. I have arranaged to return it, and have placed another order with Amazon for the same modle scale that I bought about 10 years ago which has worked reliably and accurately until a couple of weeks ago. That other scale DOES deliver the consistemcy and accuracy I need, and now needs replacement because it will now only operate on 120 volt power, having lost its ability to run on batteries. I need the 120 volt AND battery operation to handle some of the items I weigh.
