$50+ might be more than you'd expect to pay for a heating pad--it was more than I expected!--but it's worth every penny. Great size, and covered ON BOTH SIDES with lovely, soft, dark-blue fabric. Four heat settings, of which I haven't even tried "High" yet because "Medium" is so nice and warm. 5 stars!

You can tell this is a well-made heating pad. I bought two cheap-o ones off Amazon in the past year. One burned a hole in my mattress and almost me (thought it was a fluke) and the other one broke after a month. Invest in a well-made heating pad like the pure enrichment one! It also has a safety feature that turns it off after two hours. The heat distributes evenly. It is well worth the price. Highly recommend! I want to buy more from this brand!

This is a great heating pad. Turns off by itself after 2 hours. It's comfortable and sturdy. The variable heat levels are perfect for my needs. Medium is pretty warm, so I move it to low after about 15 minutes. I chose this one because it has the features I need and a U/L listing.

This heating pad surprised me in the best way. It feels premium right out of the box, and unlike others I’ve owned, it stays completely flat even after cooling down. No weird curling, no stiff edges—just a solid, well‑made pad that’s easy to position exactly where you need it. The infrared heat is fantastic. It’s deeper and more soothing than regular electric pads, and it stays consistent across the whole surface. My only frustration is the auto‑off feature. It shuts off pretty quickly, and there’s no option to extend the time. I understand the safety angle, but it would be great to have at least a couple of timer settings. If you can live with restarting it during longer sessions, the quality and heat performance make this a strong choice.

This got the best rating of all on an important site, maybe wire cutter. Mine came, and was much hotter than all the others, which I needed for physical therapy. Unfortunately, after about two or three weeks, the great heat only lasted five minutes. I needed it to last 10 minutes, but without fail, after five minutes, the heat faded away to very low. I called the company and they said it's defective. So I called Amazon and they took it back. But instead of ordering a new one just the same, I'm going to look for a different brand. It's important that I get a heating pad very soon for my physical therapy, and I don't Believe that a new one will perform better. Perhaps it will, but I can't take that chance.

Just recently the heating pad was not turning on. I called the Pure Enrichment company for troubleshooting advice. After the company determined it was something not fixable they arranged for me to get a new heating pad. The heating pad came the next day. I also have several air purifiers from this company that I have had for quite a few years that run constantly that are of the highest quality. I really mean it when I say that their products and polite helpful customer service is impressive. I would just like to add that the Far Infrared heating pad has the most deep penetrating soothing warmth. A regular heating pad cannot compare with this type of technology. A regular heating pad just feels like surface heating and inferior compared to Far Infrared. Whatever pain or soreness you have, in my opinion this is a truly a therapeutic device. I urge you to read about the benefits of Far Infrared and you will find this type of heating pad is a great investment for your health.

This is LARGE. But will cover your whole back. Ceramic beads, very soothing....really like it,.

At first, maybe because I expected more from an infrared pad, I was undecided. After a week of use, I'm glad I gave this a try. The highest setting gets plenty warm, and the weight is soothing. The dark blue mink is soft, high quality, and a great change from the common 'therapy grey'. Additionally, the two hour automatic shut off is a great feature. (This shutoff isn't adjustable.) As a chronic pain sufferer, heating pads are essential. My last pad was also a regular Pure Enrichment xl, and that thing lasted 6+ years of constant use, so I'm hoping for the same longevity. The construction of the infared pad feels sturdy.
