This is the second set of Pinzon flannel sheets I've bought. I have loved the first pair so much! Thick, strong, soft, no pilling, washes well, little shrinkage, lasts for years - I bought the first pair 4 years ago and still no pilling. This time, did I want the soft gray or the "lavender" for my D-i-L? I settled on the lavender. I wish someone had described the type of purple. It's NOT lavender. Here it is: It is a perfect shade of Pinzon's dove gray with a dash of grape thrown in the dye lot. The color showing on my monitor is about right. It will go well with the soft gray and mauve that my daughter-in-law loves. Someone described it as vibrant purple. This set isn't. The color is printed on. The reverse is basically white with a bit of color coming thru in the light. There has been no fading as some have commented on. The dryer isn't full of lint after drying them.The only negative I have to say is in the cooooold winter evenings, you want a top sheet that leaves plenty of overhang for both you and your hubby. The queen set doesn't give as much overhang as I'd like. I always buy the king, wash the sheets well in hot water, dry on very warm - twice in case it shrinks - then tailor the king fitted sheet to fit my queen mattress - only one side needs to be shortened. I'm glad I know how to sew. Someone mentioned the narrow king pillowcases - true. A queen fitted with a king top sheet - perfection! The quality of flannel and reasonable price make it worth the extra effort.

UPDATE: After a year using these sheets in the colder months, pleased to report they have not pilled at all. There was a slight loss of color on some areas of the fitted sheet, but overall these are colorfast and beautiful! I have a closet full of high-priced cotton flannel sheets that pulled so badly after 5 or so.washes I cannot sleep.of them anymore. These printed cotton flannel Pinzon sheet sets are great quality and perfectly dyed in lovely colors.***I wanted to try the Pinzon, as I've purchased so many pairs of flannel sheets over the years that simply do not hold up to washing over time and I cannot bear pilly sheets. These 170 gram sheets have a nice feel, are soft and are beautifully dyed. They don't seem quite as fuzzy as other flannel sheets right out of the package, but I prefer that as I am a hot sleeper. They are simply beautiful, generously-sized, good value and well-reviewed by other buyers here who report these sheets hold up very well to repeated washing. Perfect!

UPDATE: After using these sheets for a couple of weeks I am convinced that these are without a doubt the BEST flannel sheets I have EVER bought! They fit better than any others I have had and they stay put! First sheets I have had that are deep enough that they don't ride up on the sides of the mattress. They are the softest, most luxurious sheets I have bought. I have now purchased a second set that are on our bed now. Same exact quality and fit as the first set. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for high quality flannel sheets at a great price - I purchased both sets on sale!These are the nicest flannel sheets I have found in years! Softest sheets I have ever bought. I will definitely buy more!

I've had these sheets for many years now. I love them so much I ordered a 2nd pair in a different pattern. They are incredibly soft and have worn very well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

This was my first-ever set of flannel sheets since I decided to give in when I started to refuse to turn up the heat at night. I read the reviews and also washed them first in cold water/vinegar before using, drying them on low. The sheets are very soft and warm: I don’t need the extra blanket(s) Is been using. They fit my 12” mattress, although after washing several times, they’ve becoming a bit short in the middle of the side panels. The corners fit perfectly. It’s just the sides are arcing up. There also is some minor pilling down around the foot area when I strip the bed. The main area has remained pretty smooth, however. Overall, I think these are a great value for the price. I would buy another set to be able to rotate them between washings.

These are the most comfortable, soft, snugly warm sheets I've ever bought. I also bought extra matching pillow cases. I went with the polka dot pattern which I was worried the dots would bleed in the wash. Nope! They came out of the wash perfect. I ordered the California king size and they fit my bed better than any sheet set I own. When you open the package the sheets don't feel like flannel sheets so I was a little concerned. I pulled them out of the dryer and Tada! Prefect flannel sheets! If your reading reviews and are on the fence about buying these sheets, order them, you will be glad you did.

These sheets are very high quality and are soft and warm, but also breathable and do not make you sweat! The material is a nice substantial weight flannel, and the color is beautiful It has a botanical kind of pattern on it and goes perfectly with the comforter on our California King bed. Our mattress isn't particularly "deep" (Only about 8 inches deep) and the sheets tuck under and really hold on well, and at the same time I can see where they would easily fit a much deeper 11" to 13" mattress. Very happy with this purchase and may order a second set for the same size bed at our beach house.

The sage green colour with a floral print is beautifully calming. The sizing is generous. Flat sheet is wider than most… giving better coverage. I washed them in cold water on a gentle cycle. Dried on low heat one sheet at a time due to my machine size. Almost no shrinkage. Following first wash there was no pilling or fading and next to no dryer fluff. The 170 Gram quality of this fabric is the best I’ve seen. They feel so wonderful I can’t wait to get into bed every night. I will be buying a couple more sets when the king size is in stock again. Highly recommend Pinzon brand and 170 Gram quality. If you love flannel sheets these are a must have. Well worth every penny.UPDATE: I’ve had these sheets for 9 months now. I’m still in love with them. They continue to feel wonderful and they haven’t pilled like so many other brands. My only comment is the top sheet has shrunk a little. There is hardly enough to cover the sides of the mattress. My mattress is standard depth. Perhaps somewhere along the way I forgot and washed them in warm water. 🤷‍♀️😔 Still highly recommend purchasing. They’re worth the money.
