Pasta Maker is fantastic, supplied instruction manual is terrible and is actually misleading
First off let me tell you that once I actually figured out how to use the pasta maker it is fantastic and well worth the money and very well made. However the instruction manual is awful - they spent less than a nickel on it including the guy who wrote it.The instructions seem simple but they are not and are actually wrong at least for an American audience. They switch between weight and volume measure without clarifying the difference and refer to "a cup" when they actually mean the unmarked cup supplied with the pasta maker which is way more than "a cup".Basically it is very simple the single pasta proportions are 8.8 ounces (by weight) of flour (dry ingredients) to either the lower left liquid measure line by volume on the supplied cup or the lower right lower liquid plus egg volume line on the right (slightly more than the liquid only by volume). For a double volume you just use 17.6 ounces by weight of dry ingredients to either of the 2 upper lines for liquid or liquid plus egg.(You can dry measure the ((CUP)) of dry ingredients using the supplied plastic cup if you don't want to weigh it, but scrape of the excess flat on the top of the cup - it won't be perfect but probably normally will be OK)You can't use less than a single batch and probably shouldn't use more that a double batch. And they do not provide any definitive way to do other than a single or a double batch since the lines on the cup provide the only liquid marks and they are not spelled out in any absolute measure. However that said, either a single or double batch should always work and you can refrigerate or freeze any excess in portion sized batches.I used to write manuals for a living and this is honestly worse than many of the second language written ones I had to rewrite into English. This premium Company should be ashamed - truly great product but - worst manual ever.Watching several You Tube videos on the use of this product only reveals that the reviewers actually don't understand the true ratios either.

So easy and totally worth it!
So easy to clean! A little soap and warm water does the trick. It's like a big play dough machine and the result is beautiful home made pasta. So excited to try some of the vegetable infused pastas. You do have to be very precise with your measurements, too much liquid or not enough can really affect your results.Very pleased so far.

Works great!
First time using the machine I made duram pasta with Semolina/all-purpose flours & came out great! Follow the recipes for proper dry/wet proportions. I use a kitchen scale & recommend since it’s more accurate.Seems to waste some of the dough, as expected, that’s in the mixer and extruder when it’s done.

Piece of Junk
When I follow the recipes (including weighing my ingredients in grams on a sale), the dough is so hard that it can't extrude, and when I add enough water so that the dough comes out, it is a sticky mess, absolutely nothing like the videos.Don't waste your money!

Just what I was looking for
With the price of pasta increasing, and not being able to find some of the types my family enjoys, I decided to break down and buy this machine. In size, it is perfect for making a full pound of pasta with ease. It does take about ten to fifteen minutes, but trust me it is well worth it! Adding the ingredients is easy, and it mixes it right up in the machine so it skips me from having to dirty more than one item to make this pasta. Some of the pasta attachments are hard to clean, but I've found soaking them in vinegar will break up any leftover dough that gets stuck inside the attachments with the small brush that is included with the machine. I like that I can now make my own pasta in different shapes and sizes, and know what is actually going into the dough to make something healthier and not as filled with unneeded ingredients. I can't recommend this machine enough if you're looking to start making your own pasta from home.

Measuring cup arrived cracked.
It seems to work ok. I had to make a few batches to get ingredients correct. The measuring cup that came with it arrived cracked which made it hard to get liquid ratio correct.Customer service sent me a replacement but it is the wrong measuring cup for my machine. I really don’t want to return the machine to get the correct measuring cup BUT it’s essential to have the correct measurements.***HOW DO I ORDER A NEW AND CORRECT MEASURING CUP? ***
