OLED TV Warning
I like everything about this unit except the mute function which puts a sizable banner in the lower right corner of the TV with the word "Muting" . This can be a problem as it can cause image retention/burn-in on an OLED display like the Sony Bravia which I have. It also blocks out portions of the ticker crawl on financial, sports and news channels. This can be avoided by switching to the TV speakers but having such behavior in the AV unit is a major annoyance. The mute function of the TV itself shows mute status for only a few seconds.

Other than learning that it works fine. Love the new remote with less buttons
Make sure to get the latest update, and install from USB, from Pioneer as the unit will not update itself. Other than learning that it works fine. Love the new remote with less buttons.

Died in less than a year, shipping to repair centered not covered, atrocious privacy policy
The amp died in less than a year. It was covered by warranty but I am responsible for the $70 it cost me to ship it to the repair center. Had Pioneer paid for that it would have cost them a fraction. In addition, the receiver asks you to opt in to a Orwellian privacy privacy every time you turn it on until you finally relent and say yes. Everything you do with the amp will be used against you for marketing purposes.
