Bought these to lower the volume of squeals and shrills in this family of ten. I can still hear them.... just at a way softer volume. Like someone taught them their inside voice in .02 seconds!! Secondly, they seem to think I can hear them with them on. So I can pick and chose what I want to answer.And last.... The tattling has ceased. They give up and walk away before even trying to talk. We have a rule if they aren’t bleeding or dead, no tattling. This makeshift “do not disturb” ambience that’s created by simply putting them on is worth every single little penny. Even my husband walks in front of me and waves to get my attention! People with any kind of sound sensory issues.... this is your lifeboat. I have five pairs!!

So I bought these just because I wanted some silence in my life. I'm not using them to work or go to a concert nothing like that I just wanted some quiet. I looked at hundreds and hundreds of muffs and these are just great. It feels so amazing putting them on. As ridiculous as that may sound I also enjoy that they're orange since that is my favorite color. they came in a cute little Ninja Turtles box LOL very well wrapped totally worth the buy. Very comfortable.

I picked this up for my 8 year old who has some sensory issues. They work great, the fit is comfortable, and they don't cause the pressure that some other brands have. I tried them on my self and my husband and all three of us had no problem with sizing I say it would definitely fit anywhere from a small child to an adult. They absolutely block out enough noise to be soothing. You can still hear people talking but it cancels out all the extra sounds happening around you. They seem well made , the headband is very soft. I recommend to anyone looking for an affordable set.

I f you are seeking a ear cancellation apparatus, this is the one for you. The noise cancellation is great and the price was even better. I now mow for 4 or 5 hours and don't have that awful ringing in the ears. I will buy this again while it is still available for sale on AMazon. Please keep it available. It is one of the best products in this line that I have ever purchased. I think it has saved a lot of my hearing that would have been lost without this product. If you shoot guns for practice or mow your lawn with loud mower motors or just want a moment of silence, this is the product for you. Excellent product and excellent results. I LOVE these! I have a 3 year old grandson who use to fuss and cry at the races when he wore his ear muffs. One of us would have to take him back to the hauler and miss the race. I read the reviews on these and ordered. So glad I did! He calls them his big boy ear muffs. Wears them all day and evening and doesn’t fuss at all. They are no where near as tight on his head and the padding is thick and soft.

I wear these in my aerobic dance class where they play the music so loud I have experienced hearing damage. They definitely cut out enough dB so that I can enjoy myself without wondering whether I will go deaf from these workouts. These gyms are not regulated like industrial environments where you are required by law to wear ear plugs, FYI. A lot of fitness centers have the sound systems cranked up way beyond what would be considered legally safe.

Bought these to help my son who is sensitive to loud noises. He loves them! Even wears them to bed.

Some people either got some kids version, from the other reviews Inhave seen,or didn't realize that the wire "sticks" going from the band into the earmuffs can be extended out to give the whole thing a bigger fit.In ear muffs, there are 4 keys:1. NRR, or Noise Reduction Rating ( SNR means Single Number Rating, so it is a different rating ).Notice how the much lower NRR ear mufflers can be much thinner, flatter-to-side-of-head...These stick out quite far...2. is fit, and these have soft vinyl, not hard plastic, against one's skin.There is a similar set of muffs that has airspaces molded into the vinyl of the headband much more frequently.I wasn't allowed to get those ones shipped into Quebec, so I ordered these.Those ones, with their more-airspaces-in-the-headband will probably be noticeably cooler in the summer, for shaved-head people.3. Fit with other gear: will these fit with your hardhat? I don't know.Will these fit beneath a welding helmet? Almost certainly not.Look at 3M for a modular welding-helmet/hardhat/muffs system ( the muffs clip on the hat, the welding helmet clips on it, too.9100 QR, iirc )North also has a hardhat/clip-on-muffs array of products.4. As anyone who read the North Safety hearing protection catalog ( online PDF, don't know if they still do it that way, with different frequency responses ) knows,you can reduce the voice-frequencies less, or more.If the noise you are reducing is motors or explosives gunshots, you may not need to.If grinding, you NEED to.Reducing speech comprehensibility can impact safety on a site.Therefore, the North Safety catalog ( by Honeywell ) used to, maybe still does, list different muffs for different kinds of situations.*I* got these thing to make meditation much more enjoyable & peaceful/healing,& to protect my hearing from that damn bullet/something blender that *hurts* my hearing, when making carrot/ginger/greens smoothies.Also, for when using a portable Makita LXT circular saw.Meditation, though, is their home: how much greater the peace in me when using 'em!Hope this helps!Salut, Namaste, & Kaizen!( :

The reason I bought these was I didn’t want to buy consumables like disposable earplugs.For $15 on sale with coupon I thought I would go with these.However....The manual states the ear pads should be replaced every few months! (I attached a picture of the maintenance instructions if you can see the print) Very disappointing! And they don’t seem to have the replacement pads available. That should be in the description!They do a great job for noise cancelling but are not very comfortable. I purchased this item based on the reviews here. I was expecting a dramatic reduction in the noise since I purchased it for studying. That was not as expected as I can still hear the noise around me. I even asked my friend to stand behind me and talk in a normal volume and I can tell you that I heard every single word she said.Regarding comfort, you will feel the pressure after 20-30 min.

So I just opened up these new ear protection headphones that I wanted to try a few days ago and yesterday I went to do a few cuts in the garage of some MDF boards so I decided to give this a try.Overall great noise cancelling abilities since when I used my circular saw and my mitre saw, the only thing I could really hear is a soft buzz. The whole point of me buying these is to soften up the sound so this is good for me!Also at first I thought the part that goes on your ear was very plasticky, however once I finished cutting my boards, I knew why this material is actually not bad as it was super easy to clean and wipe away vs if it was other materials. I like to keep all my tools stuff all in clean and brand new looking shape and this is just perfect for me!

These are surprisingly well made. They do not feel cheap at all yet the price is very reasonable. I was impressed especially by the quality of the ear pads. Some other brands have very hard plastic pads but these are very soft and comfy. The noise reduction is very good in my opinion, although I did not test it with a db meter. Also, they pack really small!A nice addition to any workshop or noisy environment. Protect your ears!
